They need to rework the trust levels and add forum levels 1-10. And to get higher levels you have to read posts and I mean a lot of posts. Getting suspended drops your levels by 2. But can get the levels back by reading and posting.
And level decay should be slow with inactivity. I mean you work hard to get them why lose what you gained just cause you want to take some time off from the forums for a bit?
All level 3 does is lt you post live links and embed photos. Both of which require extra moderation. I think that I last posted a picture in the transmog section around January or so talking about the orange clothing in the trading post and have lost the ability since.
Wouldnt you be able to just pick a big thread and scroll through the whole thing to “read” all of the posts? Idk im at 128k posts viewed or sumn but i definitely have not read that many comments on here xd
The trust-level-3 maintenance requirements are frustratingly senseless, but what is completely ridiculous is that we cannot even see our own progress with regards to the requirements, both to gain TL3 from TL2 or to maintain TL3. 
It’s such a weird forum set up. No other forum I’ve ever been on has it. And losing the ability to post links or pictures due to inactivity is so dumb.
If someone posts nefarious links and inappropriate pics just suspend or ban them.
You also lose it if you server transfer. I learned that the hard way.

You also lose it if you lapse in your WoW sub. I learned that the hard way. Got charged for 6-month, got it refunded to go month-to-month, found out it counted as my sub running out and lost level 3.
Huh? You lose your trust 3 for running out of sub time? Wow that is harsh.
