They probably thought OH HELL NAW we can’t give them hero gear for doing platforming that’s not right!
No. I know exactly what Delves are meant to be and what they are. I don’t need the trolling misinterpretations you keep responding to me with in every thread on Delves, thanks.
Now this I don’t want. LOL
This I’d get behind!
This I would not. LOL
Not only jump puzzles but jumping platforms.
I still want to do my rotation every now and then but mix it up. Mr. Delver was an awesome story for that exact reason.
You’re a Dracthyr Sen, you’ll be at an advantage unlike the rest of us.
I can barely keep my character from falling off of ledges half the time, let alone take on a full jumping puzzle. I’m perfectly fine with keeping those out of delves. lol
The mobs hit hard because you have tank Brann now, sorry but Brann cannot be removed from the discussion as this is core to the shift in design philosophy. You use Tank Brann if you need to avoid the hits, you use Healer Brann if you can tank those hits yourself but need healing. You use dps Brann if you can mitigate the hits and do not need healing.
Sidenote aside from Brann, Most people either found the mechanics to be more trouble than they’re worth, or didn’t find them to be required to be done at all. The candle/totem depletes as you move? Ok but you get fresh candles/totems frequently enough for that to not be an issue anyway so either you’re in camp A of players who get frustrated by the mechanic existing and avoided the delves with said mechanic, or you’re in camp B of players who never bothered and didn’t see the point because it didn’t meaningfully alter how they played (I’m camp B btw). The only extra mechanic I had fun with was the flamethrower in that one earthcrawl mines story as it contained within it a choice of “Do I use my class abilities or do I use the flamethrower for damage instead?” Everything else was either “this is in the way (mostly the ones in the underwater delves)” or “This doesn’t do anything”
You underestimate my failure rate at Mario jumping.
