Yes, this is true.
But I already have a Single Target set of gear, a Multi-Target set of gear, and an Heroic Visions set of gear. I will swim in Molten Core before I stack Azerite traits for dailies.
This is just me being stubborn.
Thank you for a response that was actually constructive and helpful
Celestial Alignment has a 3 minute cooldown, 2.5 if you have visions. If I can chain pull them as a bad moonkin a fire mage should be able to nuke them no worries, this is a you problem.
So spec blink, problem solved.
3 months into the patch and I have yet to be hit by that thing more than 6 times total.
Yes it was. Back in BC, the OG dailies, in Skettis and in Ogrila, there were mobs that, if you flew to close to them, knocked you off your mount altogether, and one of those quests required you to bomb them from the air.
Something that requires a modicum of my attention IS more fun than something I can sleep through.
My point is that THESE ARE DAILIES.
None of that crap should be there in the first place.
I earned flying and had to wait an extra patch for it. Why canāt I actually use it?
In the past, you would have a few mobs that would hinder your ability to do what you were trying to do. Now I spend half my time waiting around to just be able to mount.
So, i have a 30 second interrupt and one that requires me as a ranged player to be in melee range. But it is my fault for not interrupting or playing poorly.
You can do it, so why canāt I?
Because I have multiple alts to run through this junk, and as if travel time isnāt bad enough (I mean cāmon just put a port to the zones in Boralus hub), if I am not flying halfway across a zone to get to something, I am slowed, dazed, stunned or unable to mount.
Is being perpetually in combat with Evading mobs my fault as a player? No, the game designer messed up and there werenāt enough testers to catch it.
You all are treating dailies like they are supposed to take any skill whatsoever to do. They are grind, period. It is not mini-raid. In H raid gear I should be facerolling this crap, not dying to DoTs from trash packs.
Losing control of your character is not fun, nor is it productive in any way.
I guess I am one of a few people here that arenāt masochists.
It isnāt a matter of paying attention. The mobs in question spam cast that debuff, it stacks and refreshes each time it hits you, it lasts something like 30 seconds, and I have a single interrupt on a longer cooldown than the recast is. There is literally no way to avoid getting it, and we dont all have a nifty remove curse button.
Dailies have been in the game for 14 years, they are definitely supposed to be there.
No you earned part one of pathfinder, then you had to wait a patch for part 2. You hadnāt earned it yet because it wasnāt in the game yet.
Well I didnāt think they did, but judging from the amount of people that complain about them being to hard I guess Iām more skilled than I thought.
Have you tried getting good? Because on alts in H gear I do faceroll this crap. Hell On alts in benthic gear I faceroll it.
Might as well ignore sacro at this point. Blatantly obvious heās one of these tools that rolled druid after it became popular and has never had to deal with difficult gameplay.
Uh, pretty sure flying was in the game in 8.0.
They made us wait longer than they have in past expansions. I should be getting a pro rated refund on my 5K gold every minute I am in game and cannot fly.
I am not saying that dailies are difficult. I am saying that they are unnecessarily annoying (you should be able to relate to this) and take too long to do and are not fun. There is nothing novel or interesting about this set of dailies. Worse even, they are painfully annoying.
My DH in less gear than my raid toon can blow through the dailies in literally less than half of the time. It is not a āgit gudā issue, it is a quality of life issue. And, perhaps, it may even be more of a caster issue.
I pay my sub to have fun. Not to constantly be frustrated with the game. The play design, imo, has gone entirely in the wrong direction.
The raids have been great.
KulāTiras, Zandalar, Nazjatar and Mechagon were gorgeous. Art team knocked it out of the park.
But the current dailiesā¦just let me get them over with as quickly as possible, please. The stuns and slows are just pointless and annoying and make me not even want to log on. There is nothing fun, or engaging, or skillful about them.
They should take skill. Practise makes perfect and you come across as a liability than an asset the way you refuse to accept a modicum of skill should be involved in world content.
Except it really isnāt. Most of what you complained about can be avoided. The only thing I ever get are debuffs/dots from mobs. I donāt get stunned or slowed like you seem to.
Because Iāve never had this problem at all. In all the time Iāve been in the Vale and Uldum, Iāve been slowed once by a great worm. Thatās it.
Except nothing slows or stuns me.
Why? Dots and bleeds and heals and shields have existed from mobs for a very very long time. The stuns and slows? I donāt have this issue. Soā¦
Iāll repeat what the op has been saying and youāve all been ignoring:
This has nothing to do with skill, the complaint is that mechanics which serve zero purpose other than to frustrate and annoy players have been used far too frequently in this content.
This comes off as a sunday thread to me. Iāve never seen someone complain that dailies are hard. Or that the Great Wormoās make it so you canāt fly. 3/10
NOBODY IS COMPLAINING THAT DAILIES ARE HARD!
A little reading comprehension, please!
They are not difficult, they are annoying.
Everything stuns, slows, dazes or DoTs you.
The result of which is that it just takes longer to grind it out than necessary.
Except youāre wrong. A great worm slowed me with one stack once. Nothing else has dazed, slowed or stunned me. Dots and bleeds are part fighting mobs. Have been for the entirety of the existence of dailies.
If youāre having an issue, this is a you problem, not a game problem.
