It’s the number of buttons + the GCD that’s the issue. Not the number of buttons in general. It’s the fact that you have to click, wait, click, wait, click, wait, click wait… Annnnd now you can start dealing big damage.
Just makes it feel very clunky. Particularly when the game routinely puts you in positions where you have to make split second decisions as to whether you need to burst or not.
This is REALLY felt when I was healing on my holy paladin. Repeatedly I’d be in a position where the party was getting trucked from unexpected damage… I’d be spamming my abilities trying to keep everyone alive. I really really wanted to use my wings (big healing CD), but I couldn’t… Why? Because someone probably would’ve died during the GCD from activating my big healing CD.
