Classic Era is based on v1.12, which I don’t believe is the TBC pre-patch. It feels like you’re reaching pretty hard here though. You’re not going to make much headway trying to argue that Era is actually the TBC-prepatch and should, therefore, include TBC features.
No, out of line. Like, so far beyond my experiences with the game that I sincerely question whether or not you’re being genuine and relaying actual experiences, or are just playing to hyperbole to try to inflate your argument.

I’ve run at least 20 groups (if not much more) across SM, ZF, SFK, RFK, and RFD in the last 2 months and had absolutely zero issues. On several occasions I’ve even had conversation in party chat turn to “Man, I think it’s great we’re all just chatting while we travel. I love Classic Era!”
