Says the Shadow priest that never goes out of Mana and says go back to retail. If you want the classic exp then play reg classic.
This is a test ground in Classic not normal. They made everyone different on mana but mages. We don’t care if we have to drink but make drinking faster or upgrade water to match the state of the game with inflated health and mana.
Faster water? You want people to chug instead of drink normally? If they give us a keg stand item to drink faster that requires 3 people like a warlock summoning table then I will DEFINITELY side with you. until then just drink and look at twitter.
Attaches a keg on a wheels with a chain to a mage. Increases drinking speed by 1000%. Decreases move speed by 75%. Lasts 1hr. Can’t be canceled.
Before I got Viper I was really starting to get annoyed at how slow mana regen feels now, 50% more regen seems about right in Classic.

I think we can all agree you should be able to do a quest for the ability to duel wield food/water.
And they could give it a cool Stone Cold animation.

Doing a BG because PvP with my mates is fun, and even if the rep grind is long it’s not a waste of time at all
Doing raids on lockout with my guildies, even when I don’t get loot or we end up DEing most of it cause it’s not the good stuff is Not a waste of time
Deciding we’re going to 5 man defend the Desolace border from gross alliance players is also not a waste of time
Being the only one in a dungeon that has to spend a full 30seconds drinking to not even be at full mana with the water I conjure at a rate of less than 1 per second Is an enormous waste of not just my time, but 4 other people’s time where we are actively Not Playing the game.
The Point of the game is to Play The Game. Let me Play the damn game

Not sure increasing the effectiveness of water is a “Retail suggestion” when stat creep in sod (which didn’t exist in classic) increased mana pools but didn’t increase mana returned on water…
No? What’s actually going on:
Mage has a giant tank that can hold a lot. But it burns through so much gas quickly that it ends up not mattering. So after your quick and fun trip you already need to refuel. But then the gas stations take ages to refuel your tank. Because they are operating at the same speed as all the other cars. Your tank holding 2-3x as much isn’t accounted for.
And that’s the issue.
We’re at 40 with 3-4K+ mana and no buffs to regen to counteract it.

Mage tables are as inevitable as Thanos at this point.
The discussion should turn to what model should SoD use for its mage table when it inevitably arrives? I think they should use something different from the little retail table. Make it a big fancy table to rival lock closets.
I want a magical well with a bucket splash sound effect.

Yea, the food and water kinda suck.
Always remember, they love their downtime and the slower the better.
Then why is my LFG chat nothing but warlocks selling summons? It’s obvious no one actually wants to play the game that way anymore and if you’ve ever taken a summon anywhere or used higher level water than what drops from the mobs your killing then your only proving it.
Classic players have a Classic server, go play that instead of trying to gatekeep other peoples enjoyment. If you don’t want better water then just go and sit there for 2 mins until your mana is back.

We dont mind drinking water. The problem is its not scaling. We shouldnt spend 30 sec for a drink that fills .40% of your mana pool. You need 1 min of downtime every pull?
This was fine in regular classes where other classes had to drink too and the tank had to eat and wait. Now People don’t have mana issues, it go go go and mages are not participating they are sitting drinking for 1-min while the group is cleaning.
I think you are misunderstanding my post.
I would like a 10-second full mana sit down, it’s a waste of time and an annoyance to go longer without some sort of added bonus.
