$15/mo is 50cents a day if you play everyday. Thats the cheapest engaging entertainment you will find. Im happy to pay for a product that I enjoy, and i have enjoyed every second of Classic. That fact that it is 15 years old is irrelevant. If you think it is too old to pay a monthly sub for then you can cancel your scrip. BUT if you have been playing it since 8/26, and plan on playing it for many months/years to comeâŚwhat is the problem?
There is a restaurant in my town that is 50years old. We eat there all the time and spend ridiculous amounts of money, and not once have i thought âthis place is too old and the food is always the same. How can a place this old possibly charge market prices for anything?â I have never had this thought because to me the service is worth the dollar. WoW Classic is also worth the dollar. When i stop enjoying the service i will stop giving the dollar.
I cancelled my retail sub during WoD because the game simply wasnt bringing me the joy it used to and i no longer felt ot was worth $15/mo.

At 15 dollars a month, that works out to be 3.75USD a week. If you cant manage $3.75USD a week then i suggest you need to STOP playing games and get your life in order son!

Server costs are nowhere near what they were back in the day.
Corporate bootlickers will give you a mouthful for this post, but ultimately you are right. If i wasnt a hopeless degenerate I wouldnt be shelling out the little money I had on this either.
edit- 5$ a month is probably a more appropriate cost if i had to gauge one

Its not tho, its 15 bucks a month for both Retail and classic, which also includes the cost of server infrastructure, electric bills, cooling bills and bandwidth. Plus security and customer support.

You seem to forget that when a system collapses and new system takes its place. What do you think happens then? The same thing happens 100-200 years down the line. This is a necessary evil we live with everyday. I say enjoy it, while watching their every move.
