Same here.
I rarely use cloaks and helms, almost never use bracers, and I am hit and miss on pants, shoes and gloves.
It should be free for void elves then. Just to keep the racial fair.
It is always fun when they remove the transmog costs, and I get to try different things without any penalties.

if youre calling a 1k tip a lot, youre legit broke af man. I’m not rich by any means, ive never broken 500k gold, but calling 1k a lot for a tip is…really sad
I don’t understand why we can’t lock an appearance and that appearance doesn’t change no matter what item you equipment in the slot. Private servers have done it. Other games have done it.
The TMOG system in WoW is suuuuuper out of date.
Also, it would be awesome if we had the ability to color match. (Like SWTOR where you could make every piece transition to match the color scheme of the chest piece you’re wearing).

Maybe we could just do away with gold. For example, we could pay for repairs with a portion of the mats required for crafting the gear.
I agree, thats why i’m just asking for them to lower the cost, not make it free.

Repairs and transmog costs are based on vendor prices for the gear. So it’s entirely dependent on the gear itself.
Raw generated gold hasn’t been decreased that much. Because Delves drop gold at the end, which can be run infinitely.
You cannot keep an economy in check by removing one thing and doing nothing else. They’re trying to bring it down, not increase it or keep it the same.
Transmog is a mini gold sink that needs to exist. Adjust it and everything else needs adjusted, as well, to bring down the inflation— not keep it the same.
Remix had no economy. Entirely different.
WoW is the only game where basically everyone is an RMTer, if not, they are definitely an apologist for it.
And yet Blizzard STILL haven’t fixed the Dragonflight Master’s Hammer… (Blacksmiths who maxed out their profession in Dragonflight, can repair ALL of their current gear for free - endlessly…)

remember when you couldnt just put on any gear you wanted whenever you felt like looking a certain way. nope you got yourself some brown shoulders with a blue chest green pants and gold gloves. never forget those days.

Making gold has been one of the most simplest things this far into the game just purely because of how many materials this game has gotten overtime. Proffs from older expacs can make plenty money if you just scan the AH and start slowly flipping things. Can easily go from 50k to 1mil+ in a month if you’re smart about it.
Back when we wore burlap sacks with arm holes cut out and tied gnomes to our feet to use as shoes. And we liked it that way!
