the solution to the lack of healers is to go reroll a healer, level it from 1-40, collecting all the runes along the way, to then do the thankless job of healing all the pew pew dps… what do you mean nobody wants to do that? pfft, player issue
The only thing killing WoW is the propensity of its players treating other players like garbage. Blizz could prob do more to curtail it but I cant blame them for human nature.
Oh you mean communism? Funny you hate communism in real life, but you want it in a game. Lol
you wouldn’t know that by logging in and reading the general chat…
This.
GDKP’ers evidently forgot about a community based on camaraderie, organizational goals, and communication.
My enhancement shaman got Arcanoshredder Monday night because the guild decided it was most beneficial to me and the guild at the same time. I wonder how much that would’ve gone for in GDKP… (I have no bearing for GDKP prices/bids, never did it, probably never will.)
Communism in real life is not something you get to opt out of. (You kinda just die, or disappear.)
Communism in game is something you can completely opt out of should it turn out to be unfair to you…
Why do you assume that I hate communism in real life?
The forums == the community. People mostly come here to whine and complain about the things they don’t like. It’s not representative of what is happening amongst people playing the game.
So yeah, if this were the only thing you used to judge the community, you wouldn’t know what the community is actually like.
yeah and guess what, healers are opting out of your in game communism
i said logging in and reading the general chat… nothing to do with the forums.
Do you have evidence to support this claim beyond individual anecdotes?
Sorry, I misunderstood your comment, but I would argue that guild chat is where you see what the community looks like, not general chat.
We got another one boys.
Another one bites the dust.
Not mine…
lol
There were posts when GDKP was banned about how GDKPs were the strongest & most social communities out there. If your community really was so strong why did it fall apart the moment the gold incentive disappeared? You have made real social connections that are even stronger than most guilds according to the pro-GDKP posters. So, legitimate question, how could it have fallen apart instead of just continuing as a strong community that now uses a different loot system?
Season of discovery isnt meant to be a rush to 60 to hit end game comtent and form 40m raid comps, its meant to try out new spec and ideas. Its essentially a beta test of sorts. Also, blizzard has been talking abput changing thebend game raids to smaller sizes so 40 mans may not even exist at 60
did you really think that was a “gotcha”? are you proud of this
It’s a legit question, hence my phrasing of legitimate question at the end.
sounds like you didnt enjoy playing the game, sorry about that goldseller but your days are over
it was a strong and healthy community built on the incentive of doing GDKP. it is not surprising what happens after GDKP is made illegal.
