Nice job ignoring what I said earlier. Korraks revenge is intended for pvp, the exp was being cheesed so you’d have groups of 10+ afking in a cave ruining the experience for all the players who wanted to play the game.
If you are just planning on afking in a cave rather than playing the game as it was intended then Yeah I support the nerf to XP.
Can’t please everyone but in this case I think Blizzard is on the right track.

leveling is now fast all year round, you don’t need to wait for Korrak’s to go 1-50 pretty darn quick. Current methods are probably already at least as fast as prior year Korrak’s.

this allows Korrak’s to be an Alterac Valley experience for those who enjoy throwback Alterac Valley, instead of having it be clogged up with many players who have little interest in actually participating.
So whether you want to level or AV, you’ve got good options.
I got a level after 2 runs at 38. One win, one loss. Not bad but it doesn’t make getting one-shot all night worthwhile. I’m going to keep running it, but on my 60s for honour rather than levelling lower level toons up to Shadowlands level.
A lost opportunity for Blizzard to get more engagement in Shadowlands.
There is a difference between the two, this AV is basically the old school version and not the neutered “race to the boss” version the current AV is. Some people enjoyed the old PvP style.
Yeah, cause that was totally intended and not broken.
I guess to the forums fun = not having to play the game
Ya’all a weird bunch.
It seemed to be quite intended considering it wasn’t FUN DETECTED at all during that time.
In 83 years, I will have become an actual undead death knight, and I will no longer need to play one online.
(I will probably still want to level my warrior, though.)
100th anniversary? 153 years old. I will have to change my name to Moses, or some other biblical figure that supposedly lived 200 years
Why increase the XP when you can just buy level 60 for 60bucks?
I never wanted to believe this kinda stuff about blizzard, but its getting harder to stay positive about them.
It has never been faster to level 1 to max than it is right now, and that includes previous years of Korrak’s. This is not an anti-leveling conspiracy. It is a pro-classic-AV move that should be appreciated both by fans of BGs/AV, and also by folks who just want to level and don’t want to feel forced into PvP content that isn’t their jam to do it.
If you want to be nostalgic for lost leveling opportunities, the one I personally miss is the pre-Legion event where you could mostly-AFK level very quickly if you were so inclined just by being in the general area of the invasion.
You, sir, have been added to the list.
Yeah buddy, i love AV of any era.
I did a Korraks last night on my 51 druid. The scaling is terrible and i simply died over and over. Its not actually fun.
If the reward for putting up with such an imbalanced event was fast leveling i’d go back for more punishment. But i can level faster just doing quests.
The thing is, i dont much care for Shadow Lands, the XP buff is nice, but i wanted a different route to get to 60.
/shrug
I just wish they would address the scaling problems. It’s pointless to do it on little toons.
Blizz will cap it at 20%.
I might level up a new Horde character, but if Korrak’s Revenge XP is bad I’ll be sad.
Probably the smart move. The one pop I got was a mid battle turtle. I having things to do irl left that run till I was kicked lol. Still got 300 honor till caught lol.
Was taking the new rogue out for a spin. When both sides are happily turtling…she has no job. No one taking points for me to back cap, not the best frontline meat grinder fighter for a start…yeah. I don’t belong here.
I like cheap shotting, sapping and blinding as much as the next player but at some point I said yeah…lets go hit the brawl/random bg/epic. Got a few slam dunks in the brawl even…good times.
