this isn’t a user problem and users should not be the ones who have to answer for Blizzard’s lack of preparedness

Blizzard specifically called out Herod before Classic’s release and warned players it would be extremely overpopulated.

Based on name reservations so far, the Herod realm is looking to be massively overpopulated. If all existing players on this server remain there, login queues in excess of 10,000 players are a certainty, and possibly much higher than that.

I’d be more sympathetic if you were on a different realm with a really long queue, but you’re playing on Herod, the server they warned us about.
