And Dire Maul wasn’t even out at launch, which is how you can tell who is lying about having actually been there at launch.

Actually, I did play in Vanilla…(I was a little late to the party though I will admit), but when I played in Vanilla, on Elune they called Deadmines VC and Dire Maul East (I think) DM, and Dire Maul West (again I think) “Tribute”

EDIT: don’t crucify me if I’m wrong about the Dire Maul dungeons, I hit 60 literally a few weeks before TBC came out (took a LONG time to level) and it was on a mage so there wasn’t much call for me to run Dire Maul other than for class quest (maybe?)

You know OP Dire Maul wasn’t called that, it was Dire Maul West,East or North. It’s why many people refer to DM as Deadmines (my self included) and when looking for a group for Dire Maul it was put in chat as DM North, DM West, DM East

Sorry I dont post much on the forums, when i signed in it used this character. But I’m just telling people how it was on my Realm. Its obvious from peoples recollection that both were used, and it just depends on what community/realm you were on. But VC was definitely the term where I was.
