I love that. Afk flyers are the best to use it on for the funniest effect. DH’s take the fun out of Net-O-Matic I think lol.
in b4 some pver rages that they cant roflstomp others with mythic gear just like in legion where even Preach admitted the issue with templates was a group of bad players getting carried by gear crying now that skill mattered more.
Sorry to get off subject there but yea you know what I’m talking about. I do agree there should be more mog sets, titles and achievements for WPvP.
I just hope we hear something more about the state of pvp in SL. Fingers crossed.

I hope so too. The issue is the interviews that Ian is doing are with pve players and they don’t talk about PvP because they don’t see it as real content.

I just started playing the game around 6 months ago. Immediately fell in love with pvp. And all I’ve been told by older players is that pvp this xpac is terrible so I hope to experience some “good pvp” I mean if I enjoyed this I’m sure I’ll be delighted with SL.
I remember when WoW released I was like 13-14 my parents wouldn’t get it for me. I’d always been intrigued and now that I’m playing it’s a blast honestly. Though I am sad to see that it’s slowly being molded to fit the “e-sports” genre.
P.S. Gonna miss all my expedient stacks but I won’t miss dying to gushing wounds or tentacles lol.

Yeah. Procs shouldn’t be the majority of our damage. It should be our spells and skills and personal skill that should be the determining factor in our ability to win a fight.

Couldn’t agree more. I mean at the very least they could either remove corruption effects from rated arena or they could’ve made corruptions stat increases only and maybe not a random dps proc like so many are.

First of all they need to bring back world defense! Priority #1 and remove layering! Preferably just give us back pvp servers and abort Warmode…
I can get down with your “wpvp set” however It’s gotta look good… BUT THIS gives incentives for people wpvp which I fully support and would beg on me knees and beg like a pig to see in the game.
Devs consider us pvp/wpvpers part of your community!

Remember the Challenge mode gear from MoP the PvE gear? Give us a recolor version of that. A lot of people liked those sets and what better way to promote it if it’s highly sought out for thus making people SEEK people out like no other!
I’ve always prefered WPvP over any other type of PvP because I find it’s the purest form of PvP. It’s the core of what this game was built on. Alliance vs Horde. Each side up in arms and taking any advantage they can to fight for what they think is right.
I do believe gear should play a factor in power but shouldn’t be the overall determining factor.

Yea it’s definitely pvp in its purest most raw form. Out in the wild, no rules. And I love it.
But I do enjoy arena too something about being pitted against another player with similar skill in a locked arena gets my adrenaline flowing.

I would love to see sets of torn/battle worn gear from alliance on the horde and horde gear on the alliance. It would be it’s own cool thing. You fight against the opposite faction and steal their gear and wear it as your own. Alliance banner on the shirt/armor torn or scratched off and replaced with the horde symbol and/or vice versa.

I couldn’t agree more THE MOST FUN I ever had in this game was Wotlk - MoP Wpvp. Me and a friend of mine on wow became actual best friends for over 10+ Years and all we did was pvp/wpvp after we hit conquest gear cap we would pursue saving alliance on the world defense board and hunting horde…It is so nice and changes up the pace of the integrity of pvp & less linear from PvE or standard bg/arena. Open world pick and choose your fights come up on random people fighting help em out or watch a gnome being camped by 2 rogues and come up and camp them!!!
Since Legion I’ve been following false faith that they will bring the glory days back but it’s becoming so sad to hold onto a grasp of hope when you get nothing but negative and discouraging feedback on it…“GAME IS PVE GAME BRO LEAVE GAME Trash PVPER” - Blah blah

I come from EQ2 and our only source of PvP for a while was PvP servers back in the day. When I joined WoW back at the end of MoP start of WoD I gravitated towards it naturally. I met my guild leader (EQ2 guild not this guild) doing PvP and we still talk to this day. I would love to play WoW with him but he won’t play. But yeah. WPvP is great at bringing people together that WoW just can’t do anymore with dungeons. To see people say PvE is the only real content and PvP needs to die just hurts. It’s literally the only reason I still play this game. If WPvP ever goes away this game will have nothing for me anymore and I will hard switch to FFXIV. They have housing at least which helps with my other EQ2 addiction lol.
Nice to see others that understand…I will continue to white knight wpvp myself on these forums till my dying days. Cheers

FF14 was a intresting game but what turned me off of it was the GCD’s and rather may I say boring Pvp hahaha…However I liked Paladins and Darkknight edgelords. Fun fun. Final Fantasy will always hold a soft chapter in my heart since i love the franchise just nailing a mmo is so hard to do since honestly blizzard raised the bar really high with WoW with its years of progress. But sadly bliz is going in the other direction with Pvp - for now and hopefully soon is changed!
Ps: Also when I mean wpvp I mean good ol’fashion 1v1 1v2 2v2 2v3-5 3v3 etc etc I’m not a fan of zerg pvp and don’t see what others see in it due to lag etc. However If one day bliz could make it lag free than maybe but I like searching and making rivalry on my own or with a companion. Not with a army

Couldn’t agree more. I do enjoy FFXIV PvP as much as I do WoW BG’s. Although nothing they have can compete with WoW’s Arena or WPvP. I also agree on the GCD. It feels super slow. The other thing that really sucks is a bard can’t compete in dps against a black mage and a black mage can’t compete with dps from a samurai. They hard cap the dps depending on their rolls to do a certain amount of dps. I also have a hate bone for the invisible walls when you can’t fly yet lol. That’s my only gripes about the game I really have.
I wouldn’t see why not. Maybe make it a special reward for being in Warmode for X amount of time or fulfilling X amount of quests in specific zones. Something that can be completed rather you are on the faction that is outnumbered or not. I know PvE in it sucks, just trying to think of a metric that can be used besides fighting with warmode on… Because right now that would just be another free reward to what ever faction happens to be in favor at the time.
