What is more curious is what the TC of this thread stated–
and what the TC of the other thread stated…
Call it cynical, but this as well as a certain other low post character in the other /moan thread make me seriously question if all three of you are not the same person…
Anyway, I am just going to quote what I said in the previous /moan thread.
To add to that quote, one more quote of mine from the other thread.
If you can’t figure out why joking about Covid-19 while its an ongoing world wide epidemic, one which its possible people here have lost loved ones to it, would get you actioned on the forums then I don’t know what to say honestly.
There is a line between jokes in good taste and jokes not in good taste. Some jokes are best made in private among friends, some are better received in public. There is a time and place for everything as well as more to the story/context of your comment that ended with you getting actioned.
I know it well now. There are times where being funny or attempting to be funny crosses a line.
Just trying to let others know that /emotes in game can really upset people. I didn’t know /moan was a functional emote. Seems fairly obvious to always be used offensively. Same goes for /spit.
My void elf was spit on a lot when the AR was released. This was by players. My DK got spit on in Org, but that was by NPCs. The latter made sense, but playing my VE and having tons of Ally players do that was upsetting.
Back on subject, OP is right. We should do away with the emote.
Didnt you just do this the other day?
This is a GAME.
I dont go around killing stuff in real life, lol.
So you can murder NPCs, but you draw the line in the moral sand at /moan?
What a hoot.
