Never participated in the rolling games. I’m pretty forthcoming with how I very nearly had a gambling problem in my past and I’m bringing to light something problematic. I would’ve brought it up if I did lose gold like this.

How do the casino masters get people to pay up? I don’t get it. You can’t force anything out of me.
Some of the posts here are extremely concerning. Gambling is a predatory practice, kinda weird people are defending it on Warcraft, of all places.
(Not this post, btw) I believe you have to pay, first. So if someone is interested in double or nothing, they have to pay first. The reason these gambling toons stay up is because they do pay back the gold if the player wins. Otherwise they’d probably get banned.
Still doesn’t change the fact that many people have lost year’s worth of gold in an instant.

Well, at least you’ll see your guild name typed out a lot more.
I’ve seen people who take part, say that the people running those characters actively harass them/beg for their gold back when they lose. So it’s definitely toxic.

i always thought the emotes were RP. i sometimes sit there and just people watch while waiting for a queue to pop or talking to guildmates.
i guess i still have some things to figure out about the server.

Thread full of people butthurt that a form of play they don’t personally like is being done on the same server they play on. Cry more, go roleplay and right-click > ignore them.
