People have been trying to explain to you why it is for weeks man. You’re willfully ignoring the player’s reasons for wanting fresh start servers.

Completely incorrect. I’m saying you wanting them doesn’t mean we need them and they don’t subsequently produce undeniably great and wholesome outcomes guaranteed as the people wanting them dogmatize to an absurd degree.
We don’t need them you just want them. Some of you are at least subconsciously aware of this which is why you move it from the realm of personal preference (opinion) and attempt to jam a round peg into a square hole by jarringly forcing into an argument or debate in which you’ve already presumed you won.
The problem there is the most basic of facts of the matter don’t line up with your narrative so you simply resolve the impasse by ignoring them and just go on the offensive with any who dare question your faith.
To me, its just easier and more honest to say “I think it would be swell to have some Fresh servers one day, hopefully sooner than later” instead of trying to convince everyone that they are 100% necessary - or else.
So if you wanna argue for the sake of it, here’s what you’re up against: They are not at all needed or necessary and you can still progress through the game in a very similar vain on an already existing server (that requires a little effort and imagination though so its no wonder why some of you cant be bothered). Simply not caring about any of your past toons and/or only being able to play via a fresh start through arbitrary phases is a personal preference and not a fact based and scientific stance chiseled into an ancient stone that is hoary with age.
imagine writing this novel instead of just saying “you know what, i apologize. you’re right. seasonal play makes a lot of sense, even if i personally do not like it”

Fresh has been tried in som1, it wasn’t enough to get people away from tbc and won’t be enough for wrath, especially when people can start preping for icc. Probably would need plus servers.

The mere fact that Blizz went the SoM route instead of just rehashing “Vanilla” over and over again should tell you everything you need to know about your preferred playstyle - its desirability, validity and longevity - but that escapes you somehow like most other things related to common sense.
