I agree, I think after hearing both arguments. I’d be okay with cheap or free respecs at trainers but not dual spec. The only real benefit for dual spec I see is tanks who can dps on fights they don’t need to tank on, or healers if they don’t need so many healers on a fight, but that’s a complex solution without spec specific roles like retail and also still brings some problems. Runes being easily adjustable whenever are also a middle ground of being able to “Respec” from more tank oriented runes to dps runes whenever.
dual spec is definitely going to be nice

Not hurt. I dont care about your opinion. Cool projection though. If it were me id have stoped replying by now but you cant because you have to have the last word because you cant handle someone disagreeing with you. I just got to work so I have all night to keep going with you.
I agree with what you are saying here. The only reason I support DS more than just cheaper respecs is that I am lazy and I just want to plug in a spec and be able to swap to it. I would be 100% ok if there was a way for us to save builds and pay the price at the time to swap them if possible.

Lol again with the 12 year old logic. I can comment on hunter nerfs despite never playing hunter. That doesnt meant I actually care. I can comment on the elections in japan. Doesnt mean I care. Its naive to assume people care just because they comment. Most people who change their profile pics on social media dont actually care about the cause.

Ummm, OPs post clearly isn’t about changing specs to optimize for every fight you clown. Lol. It’s about changing roles entirely to be able to play with friends.
The new rune system and the ease to change them runs counter to how time consuming and increasingly expensive it is to change specs. Not to mention how this penalizes the experimentation and discovery we’re supposed to be doing.
This is Retail Minus more than it is Classic Plus and an obvious testing ground for future content.

I’ll never understand the argument against certain QoL features such as dual spec. What makes that ruin the experience for you, personally? Plus, you have the option to not use it. Why not let people who want it have it?

Druids alone can have as many as 12 different sets worth of talent specs. Pve pvp solo raid dungeon healing tanking DPS melee DPS caster all of which haven’t different ways to still set you apart.
With sod. More styles of play are at your finger tips than really ever before. Classic or retail wise.
Stick to your one and only spec. No one says YOU have to be good at all the varieties. But some of us want to be. Or at least want to try to be.
But with a hindernce like respec costs and the ability to quickly do it cause you can’t fill a role because it’s 3 am server time and all the classic Andy’s are tucked in or refuse to do anything. This allows more community interactions along all facets of the game.
Allowing someone to fill a needed role quickly and not having to worry about an hour long wait would keep groups forming and evolving on the fly.
Rp from a pally. Ummmmmmm. Most pallies even in lore do more than ONE role.
Dual spec doesnt come untill 30. You never know. They could add it.
Blizzard needs to understand this is not era. Anyone that wants the old slow boring content has it. All QoL features should be in SoD.
