If it’s so dreadful why are you so desperate to play it?
What common sense? They foced the queues by delaying the sever relese. There was no where to go at launch to avoid them.
I think the last time I had a 6 hour wait time was back in 2005 when I started playing WoW for the first time. Since then 7 expansions later, with 19 other MMORPGs and numerous expansions from those MMORPGs I’ve never had a 6 hour queue time.
Like not even any of the MMORPGs I’ve played outside of WoW had it this bad. Shadowbringers expansion had like an hour queue on high pop servers and they actually had an excuse cause of DDos attacks.
Then you should probably read what I wrote and take it under advisement because I was 22 when this game launched and I’m telling you this was the classic expierience.
I bet the same people who are complaining about server queues now will be complaining about low pop servers 6 months from now.
“why can’t everything work exactly as I wanted, when I want it, and how I want it, and change in real time with my whims and desires! Fix it!”
That’s just silly, what a weird request. We dont need an apology, we just need them to better monitor popularity and server balance.
We should get one. Its the least they can do. We dont ever get a thank you for playing.
When you pay for a product they sure as sh*t do owe the consumer something. Are you insane?!
(edit) FFS they didn’t even give an option for Classic-only sub fees. You have to pay the $15/mo. normal WoW retail fee, and you don’t think they “owe” their customers anything? I need to open a business next do to you, just have all of your paychecks direct-deposited to me since you think consumers have no right to a product they’ve paid for.
Lol this guy wants a sorry. Here it is. Sorry classic isn’t for you retail doesn’t have ques and your welcome anytime.
Or now. Old Blanchy is currently listed as “Low” and I logged into Westfall without a queue
This guy hits the nail on the head.
It’s worse then that because these people are trying to pretend that population overload and Que waits weren’t a thing back in vanilla when the sad truth is that this was pretty common back then.
You have lost about 50 cents thus far, are you really that angry? If it is because you took time off work actually believing that there would not be queue times then you are just completely delusional.
ew did you just call someone ‘kid’, god thats cringe.
You do realize that You’re getting Classic essentially for free right? Like, Blizz isn’t charging anyone extra to install this?
I remember having 6hr queues for WoD. Legion wasn’t that bad but still had issues.
I used to have 2 to 3 hr wait time every Tuesday just trying to log into raid.
This is, while bad, should have been expected. This isn’t just a launch. This is bringing back a huge population of former players all trying to get through the same door as the current players.
I get that in today’s instant gratification mind set not playing all day on day 1 might seem like the world is coming to an end and you deserve compensation for that, but it isn’t and you don’t.
I don’t think anyone’s claiming there were never ques, what people are upset about is 4-8hr+ ques. That’s unreal. I’m no game/network dev., but surely there’s something they could’ve done differently. This isn’t some indie company, Blizzard has been in the biz for decades. They should know better than you or I how to avoid (as you claim the same) issues that were faced the first time around.
Just cuz it free doesnt mean it cant be done right.
Sorry we gave you what you wanted, even though we told you it would be close to impossible to perfect it to your liking.
You do realize that You’re getting Classic essentially for free right? Like, Blizz isn’t charging anyone extra to install this?
Are you really this dense? $15/mo. isn’t free. Your definition of “free” is severly skewed if you think so. I don’t want to play retail, I don’t plan to play retail, so WoW Classic is not free for me or anyone else in the same mindset, it’s $15/mo.; which is 3x the price it was back in the day.
“Included with an existing sub.” isn’t “free”; and claiming it is just supports their dishonest marketing.
