They gonna put a cool down on /sitting and / or make it so you can’t sit while in combat, which would stop it from happening in arenas.

OP is that crowd - he isn’t playing retail. He already made the threat to quit about /spit in classic but didn’t follow through so now here he is on this forum talking about changes that aren’t even in classic.
What’s more I am betting most of his 10 years of playing have been on private servers.
Sorry, its lost to time now, the only way back is through private server communities. It kind of kills the classic brand dead in tracks too.
I’m starting to feel like it’s a distraction, to draw attention away from the fact that real new content is a long way away. They removed a lot of stuff that didn’t matter and some things at least some people did care about, and players will now predictably blaming other players instead of asking hard questions, like when is 9.2?
i dont care either way until it affects my characters my things just leave me alone and the way i look majority of anyone who ever wants stuff like this is actually somewhere on internet doing things they claim offensive i get it safe work places. but if you was offered to make a movie be in one get rich that was full of petty cheesy humor had cleavage showing would you turn it down doubtful. i am truly behind fair pay no harassment stuff like that. and im sure alot of devs are playing games that are full of what is trying to be deleted here if they play them at all.
Just as every journey begins with a single step, so does the destruction begin with a single removal. People standing their ground on this just have the intelligence to recognize what it means. Hopefully nothing you enjoy gets removed because someone can’t handle a joke.
I won’t miss devs glad handing each other with npcs, I hope that stops. What other game does that? It’d be like if Link’s best friend was named Shigeru. No unchanged servers, times change. The changes Blizz are making is helping to make the game more inclusive and a safer environment for everyone.

While I too think it’s absurd, however it’s not so much about the changes, it’s the principal behind it. It’s how activiblizz thinks this will solve all their issues from within their work space,
