Can we get account wide ignore?

Like for example, just found out someone that I have on ignore is now in another thread posting on an alt and I didn’t want to hear from that person… I don’t want to go “and then” to block them AGAIN.

Agreed! That thread added at least 2 ignores to my list that I had already ignored previously!

I see some issues with account wide ignore:

1. someone could use this to track down my alts

if someone flames me and he puts me on ignore at the same time, i can’t flame back - not even with another character. that’s unfair!

This right here is why I want account wide ignore. No and then… if I don’t want to talk to you after a heated debate I don’t want to talk to you.

Battle pets are also account wide so whatever 3 you have on one character they also show up all other alts on that account.

At the end of the day its just criticism on your points.

Like you say that having an account wide ignore on the forums will be abused and there will be some people who will go around the site and tell everyone here to ignore Hwanwok because he makes really bad takes but then you forget to realize that individual that is telling everyone to ignore me because of my bad takes will end up being in bad boy jail because it could be harassment or witch hunting.

So my criticism of your argument is that Person A has a possibility of being suspended for trying to get everyone to ignore Person B and I’m sitting here at my desk, feeling like that your argument of “Account wide ignores will be abused” has some issues.

Since my post is deep in this thread with so many posts I think its time for me to bring it up.

You think my take is bad, ok, thats fine.

You want to have an argument or debate with me? sure as long as its civil.

You come towards me with hostality because I disagree with you or you hate my take so badly that you have to resort to personal attacks? I’m just going to ignore you because simply its not worth my time to converse with someone who throwing out insults towards me. If you need to swap to another character on the forums to get around my ignore and to continue insulting me while I have no interest into talking to you because of you being hostile, you are just proving why this thread exists.

Accounts are free to create. It costs $15 for time on a new account, just like it costs $15 for time on an old account. Harsher moderation is the only answer.

Ignoring an account is more easier then ignoring characters that can be easily created in a couple of clicks while being under one sub to post here.
