Can we get account wide ignore?

in HERE, right NOW, thats the case as far as I can tell…although we’ve already had a case where this thread was VERY civil initially, then one particular poster showed up and started it up and had to be chastised by one of your own group over it.

strawman?
I LITERALLY told you what has happened and you LITERALLY just ignored it…again, lol

lol.
you can excuse the behavior till the cows come in, friend…reality is what it is. It doesnt care about your opinions.
We have swapped alts AS THE BLUE suggested, to get away from people in your group following us around starting problems.
Denial of fact doesnt negate the fact, it just makes it seem like you dont like the facts.

Tell your group to STOP coming out of these Btag threads to harass, insult, name call…ie the same things theyve done in pretty much all of the Btag threads and is VERY easily confirmed by spending 60 seconds reading any of previous threads on the topic…and if they stop doing it then we wont feel the need to swap alts to get away from them.

Im going to go ahead and ignore you at this point because I can see where this is going and I have no intention of wasting my evening with a pointless back and forth where you arent actually hearing anything because you dont want to accept facts about it.

you have a nice evening.

Yeah, just seen. I’ve just place that Aeon person on ignore, and post is down. Honestly though, accusing people of being stalkers, not worth the effort to continue with.

About to do that myself.

I felt I was pretty civil there and just pointed out the truth that people are in many threads and that there is no need to switch because the other toons are in our ignores.

Actually, Im kinda done with this at this point.
I honestly believed IF we could FINALLY keep this civil that we could maybe come together to get some coherent ideas together and MAYBE if an admin or someone came by they might be interested in the thought processes and MAYBE toss our ideas into the mix for the forum changes if/when they come.

What I can see is actually going on is its all still a controlled hostility where we’re NOT listening to each other, but I can practically hear the teeth grinding from some thru the monitor.
this just isnt worth it anymore. Its entirely unfruitful and a waste of time.

you all have a great evening

Ah good, the “I was keeping it civil by making nasty accusations in a calm tone and everyone not happy with that ruined the civility of the thread” play

How about you stop with this harassment towards people claiming of people stalking people into threads on a public forum

Harassing or Defamatory

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

  • Insultingly refer to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people
  • Result in ongoing harassment to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

  • Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity

Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent. Repeatedly targeting a specific player with harassment can lead to more severe action. The idea behind this is to prevent any one player from consistently being uncomfortable in the forums.

Classic GD.

I’d of figured that threatening posters is some kind of breach of the CoC or the very least a call out.

Nobody should be doing either activity in the first place.

Linking up the Code of Conduct is not a threat, nor is against the Code of Conduct, nor is even a call out. Huge differences right there Ard. If you’re so afraid of having someone linking the CoC, or getting reported and punished by Blizzard, then don’t do anything that could potentially breach the CoC!

It is that simple.

I think I’d want a third party arbitration to dictate that as any kind of factual statement.

I’m sure you can understand why.

I think you are greatly overestimating how understandable your stances are.

I think any poster would be weary of taking forum parameter advice from a biased source.

Though lets not argue semantics here. It is what it is.

I mean, we are in a situation where people making a reasonable request keep getting invaded by bad faith actors with nonsensical arguments that they refuse to defend. Those people also will escalate any annoyance that they generate into tales of harassment and stalking which they will endlessly cry about in these threads in an effort to continue to erode the discussion and get a thread that they disagree with hidden.

But we’re supposed to fret about someone pointing out how they think those people are actually breaking forum rules?

It isn’t what someone could consider being a contribution towards creating a safe forum environment.

Posters should trust that the system works, not do the systems work for it.

And at the moment, do we have a safe forum environment, or one that provides excessive utility to people who want to disrupt it?

We do.

Sock puppets aren’t running the forums like its the Wild West.

The issue is simply overblown.

No, but they are doing good in shutting down threads to enforce their echo chamber.

And nothing will change for the worse if we make the forums work better so that our accounts aren’t as fractured (which would also be nice for people who use alts for different discussion areas to not lost post counts or TL, provides easier ways for people to point out when someone’s impersonating them and so on)

Fault isn’t constrained to one side.

I’d say the majority of it is.

Neither can this hypothetical ‘harasser’.
