Can we get account wide ignore?

But 2 way blocking are both of those, you get to control what other people get to see and you actually can make that “blacklist” and just prevent them from seeing the forums at all

My confusion with this is youre only NOT seeing those posters who have you blocked.
So youre saying you WANT to keep tabs on someone who you know has blocked you ?

If you and everyone who agrees with you blocks everyone whodisagrees with you, it creates an echo chamber, because the only people who can participate in the discussion are the people you allow to participate. That is antithetical to the purpose of a discussion forum.

Or they find nothing because really, that is an extraordinary amount of effort to search for something in forums as active as this, and hope that whoever you’re stalking posts on more than one character.

Butt you do seem eager to allow people to keep harassing others on the forums as easily as possible

you’re aware that if I’m player A and I block player B it doesn’t mean player C can’t see what player A and B have posted right. It just means player A can no longer see what player B is saying

i dont understand why you cant just be civil with people who disagree with you on the forums.

i laid out an extremely simplistic diagram of how alt finding would occur with account wide ignore, then discussed how that leads to harrassment in game… and you all just insult me since it proves you wrong.

No this is not about blocking what other people see it is about blocking what the person choosing to ignore the other person sees.

We are not talking about or nor have we ever talked about preventing people that have been ignored from interacting with others.

Say if I ignore your account only I don’t see what you say and preferably you wouldn’t see what I say . However you would still be able to interact with other people in said thread.

The person I was responding to is advocating that if Player A ignores Player B, Player B loses the ability to respond to Player A’s posts, thereby preventing everybody from seeing what Player B has to say.

If Player A doesn’t want to see Player B’s comments, he has every right to ignore Player B. What he doesn’t have is the right to prevent anybody else from seeing Player B’s comments.
