Can we get account wide ignore?

I don’t expect a real answer, but will be interested if they provide one. I just want to clear up any confusion in case someone walks into this thread and reads what they said.

They won’t, they never have in their many posts about how this is toxic, and instead just saying everyone is harassing and bullying them for asking questions

Person B wouldn’t have to change characters if they put person A on ignore if it was account-wide.

If you can just true account wide ignore everyone, how are they able to continue to contact you while on ignore?

account wide ignore still facilitates finding alts because

you can still see “hidden message”, then click on it.

person A puts peson B on ignore, then looks all around the forums to find more messages that are “hidden” and uses that tool to find person B’s alts.

then person A (the harasser) can find all alts of person B and use that to harrass them on the forums or in-game.

you have the option provided to you by the blue post: you switch characters and the harrasser cannot find you.

Or we introduce features such as an account wide ignore, and I can completely ignore anyone choosing to harass me. I shouldn’t have to switch characters because of people wanting to be toxic.

And this is an issue because why? If the victim has the harasser on ignore, them knowing all the characters they have chosen to make public forum profiles for doesn’t facilitate them getting around the ignore.

if the harrasser (person A) has access to know all of person B’s alts, then person A can then find person B in game easier and harrass them in game…

Then person B types /ignore personA, and person A can no longer do that. Plus, Person B then submits an ongoing harassment ticket, and person A gets a suspension.

It’s also not like someone hasn’t sent me in game harassment to my main already from this current forum setup using what’s already there.

but what happens if person B WANTS to switch to an alt?? then person A finds that alt and can find person B in game much easier and harrass them in game…

basically you are saying account wide ignore only works if the person B never switches alts ever.

i don’t think requiring a harrassment victim to stay on one character forever on the forums is fair or reasonable.

Also, and I know you already know, people can find others’ alts and servers on this very forum and receive unwanted contact through whispers or mail a lot easier than what this person is proposing.

but it becomes MUCH EASIER when the person A (harrasser) can find all of person B (victim) alts through the ignore feature on the forums.
