What is sad is that this train wreck of a thread went on too long and the moderation team cannot be trusted to do their job correctly. I trust when they get around to it, they’ll suspend the wrong people and let the trolls continue as they always do.

I see that the BTag being private issue has come up, I think I know how to shut that argument down:
Within the Blizzard Sphere, Btags are PUBLIC, that mean any games from Blizzard, any Blizzard forums, etc can use Btags if Blizzard so decides.
Outside of the Blizzard Sphere, Btags are PRIVATE, it is up to the one that uses the Btag to determine who they share it with and where.
It is like if a business or company has a directory for their employees, any information in that directory is public for all in the company, but anyone outside of the company would not have access to information that is not made public outside the company.
Fact is, no post has been flagged enough to activate the hide feature, and if that is the criteria to get the mod team to look at posts, it is no wonder why they have not done anything yet. Unless the anti faction alt hops to spam flag, most of us are likely safe.
You can feel free to ignore me, if that is your wish. I doubt you’ll find any further dialog much different from that which has already transpired. For me to speak to you respectfully, I would first need to respect you, and I very much doubt that’s a bar you can reach.
So, again, I guess you’ll be happier if you just ignore me.

This thread hasn’t gone on long enough its been pretty hilarious overall.
The more likely outcome is that nobody will be sanctioned, and the thread will be locked and delisted. That’s generally what happens in these ‘mutual combat’ situations.
The sad part is that the posters that genuinely deserve to be sanctioned (and there are plenty on both sides of this particular ‘debate’) won’t be, and will continue the same bad behavior. One can only hope they eventually experience a teachable moment.

The comedy of this is that Doofy keeps pointing at “Hidden reply” being the justification for his/her opposition (we all know the true reason but yeah let’s humor him/her).
As I have clearly stated, multiple times, I fully support a total ignore of a account, this means no hidden replies, no smelling their feet on the forums, no dealing with their alts as they hop around to circumvent blocks in order to continue harassment and antagonize other forum posters into arguments so that they can catch them slipping to flag them. No more dealing with certain posters that like to use alts to argue with themselves (If you know you know).

Lizard isn’t here for discussion, he’s is here to disrupt. And he unfortunately has done a fine job at that. He is only proving that the system is flawed, and we need something better.

Oh… we know.
They have done so on at least 3 alts that I know of.
This is why I point at their posts as prime example as to why the Account Wide Ignore system needs to be implemented. They really are the MVPs of this… if it wasn’t for them proving why it is needed by their actions this thread would have gone silent already with occasional bumps to keep it “living”
And if people would stop responding to him ,he’d already be on alt #4 and helping us further prove why account wide ignores are needed.

Yes but people are not allowing him to show his further dedication by responding to him .
We no longer need to counter his asinine points being made on Doobly becaue we already have . We now need him to make them on a new toon so that we can do the same on that one so he can get to #5 and so on and so on . As well as prove he is alt jumping to bypass ignores.
Did anyone else figure out Doobly is actually in favor of account wide ignore by playing devils advocate and keeping this thread alive with fake bad counter arguments yet?

thank you for providing your input on this topic… i did take your opinion into account when writing this post.
you did say that you need something better… but after all the research i’ve done into account-wide ignores and the pros and cons of implementing such a system, i have concluded, based on verified facts, that account wide ignore would not be a positive change for the forums.

You know what? you are not a dev, you don’t work for Blizzard, you are just another nobody player like the rest of us. The devs are not gonna listen to you, more than us. At least we are showing valid “verifiable” reason why an account wide ignore and forum ID would help, and you have unwittingly be supporting us with your trolling.
