I remember when they limited it back in BfA. Prior to that you could use it in any expansion. I have no idea why - if you create a tool like that, what is the problem with having it useable all the time? Its not like there is anything different between skinning something in one expansion and doing the same in another.
Would be a neat thing to give engineers, a tool you could add to a mount to make it possible to mine while mounted.
Herbing should be mount equipment as well. Maybe combine them and calling gathering mount equipment.
Didn’t we used to have blacksmith made items that allowed interacting with stuff while mounted? much like druids can?

I bet the next big mount money sink will be a mount for MORE than 2 people. Remember that cool car you had in the goblin intro area? That would be pretty sweet.
A mining mount isn’t a bad idea considering there is one for herbs. The problem is whether blizzard wants to give something what there players want.

Is ore even relevant anymore? I used to make a lot of gold selling commodities in the first few expansions. Crafting doesn’t seem that important now. Enlighten me.
