Was going to try and knock out the You Are Now Prepared achievement for the allied race unlocks. I remember trying to navigate that area on my old main and it was just awful on a ground mount.
I didn’t see anything current doing a web/forum search, was hoping maybe it had been or would be added this patch.
It’s understandable the zones are just too tiny.
Also the Art Team made those graphics young man and god darn it you’re gonna appreciate them.

Argus wasn’t too bad when I did it.
Compared to Suramar City, it’s a ride in the park.

well they made it in a real weird way
if you do some exploring you’ll see, the visuals completely break down when you’re not in the intended perspective

Well…dammit. Luckily the races that require it are not really that interesting to me and I have all the others. Thank you all for the response.
Argus was basically built like Silvermoon. If you look at it from an unintended angle, it’s all cardboard cut outs and broken geometry.

Yeah if you look at stuff at a certain angle it almost disappears…

According to the devs, Argus uses a lot of “smoke and mirrors” stuff in its design. i.e., it’s like Eversong, where they’d need to completely redesign/rebuild the zone to allow people to fly.
(While I don’t mind not flying in Argus, I still would love a TBC update.)

Suramar City is easily my most hated area in the game.
Argus is not to bad.

Why? Extreme fast to teleport everywhere. Maybe for farming and really not hard
its a shame it had to be like that, i wont understand their thought process behind omitting grim batol gilneas and quelthalas from vanilla. especially since the zones are on the map. i know time may have been short, but there were a lot of zones developed that im sure could have been less prioritized over these lore important regions… like badlands… or 1k needles
especially when you consider high elves were already alliance aligned and on the EK as npcs, but they went through all the trouble of shoehorning night elves in despite them being neutral in wc3 and could have gone either way, the HE/BEs were obviously going to only go one direction.
like even if they couldnt justify developing QT as a starting zone at least make it an endgame zone like it obviously seemed like it was gonna be with ghostlands as like an EPL extension with a naxx-similar raid since the scourge presence in there was huge. they ended up doing somewhat this with ZA but at that point everyone had kind of moved past being in that area so it made little sense that we’d level to 60 in EPL, level to outlands to 70, then return to the plaguelands at 70 for a raid (come 2.3) like TBC was all over the place
Even with PF you could never fly there? Oof. Not sorry I missed that!
Flying in Argus would be weird since it’s broken into zones with 3 separate Vindicaars. Convenient to be able to skip mobs, but maybe too small for it to make sense.

I was hoping for a hover mount to fly in Argus, like a hover bike or hover board and if you flew too high you died or flew off into space, then died. No flying in Argus, I don’t think it will be ever allowed, just like Timeless Isle.
the final 3 no fly zones in legion are small compare to the space goat and the blood elf areas
Timeless Isle has a better chance of getting flying… at least it is actually fully designed rather than being a painted skybox.
