This. I love my shaman but it’s too hard to play usually so she sits on the bench while I level others.
Would be nice if shamans could continue to be powerful.
Hunters are doing pretty good right now from what I hear so Idk why a hunter wants shaman nerfed.

Shaman is hands down the baddest assest sounding class in the game. I’m not sure that level of awesome can be nerfed. They’d need to muck around with the audio to actually nerf the shammy.
This is where our classes need to go after 20 years. We need game breaking power across all the classes. Not just Shaman and Rogue, and DK.
If Shaman had a tank class, M+ would run out of healers

Better yet, they could buff the underperforming classes which will actually kill the meta outright instead of nerfing and creating a toxic meta. Or just get rid of the cancer of m+ entirely since it adds no value to the game at this point and is just a bunch of sweatlords trying to lord their rating in a video game over people.

I heard Rockbiter was making a comeback and about five minutes after that happens it will be all Shamans all the time.
This is actually a community problem and not a game problem… if it wasnt shamans it would be DKs or Ret or whatever the top tuned class is.
Let Shamans have their moment… Ele has been terrible since 9.1, give them their time in the sun!

DPS shamans weren’t wanted for keys pretty much all of Dragonflight. They’re wanted for keys for like a week and it’s an outrage.

Calling for shaman to get nerfed instead of your desired class/spec getting buffed is kind of lame. Shaman weren’t desired for most of Dragonflight, and the second they are, everybody acts like it’s a problem. Meta chasing is the worst part about current WoW.

It’s one of the many reasons I say adding m+ was a mistake, and especially balancing around it. the sweatlords can’t stand it if it’s not their specific pet spec on top and then everyone gets screwed

The problem is Blizzard is famous for taking an axe to stuff instead of just balancing it. If they would just balance shaman everything would be fine but more likely than not hey will just take the hammer to it.
Blood lust is honestly the biggest issue. I think it needs reworked entirely to only buff the shaman. Everyone uses it as a crutch so that is why they always get invited.

if i was playing a hunter, id try to wait for those pesky shaman to shift into a wolf and quickly tame them. Think of all that crazy power at your command!
