I mean, you aren’t wrong… but many many a dev has fallen into the trap of hoping their name will carry their product. It usually backfires. Most people don’t care about the devs themselves, only the final product.

I’m not saying Mike is going to do that - I’m saying he’s known, so he may get the attention needed to get out a game. I’m not sure why you keep snipping parts of my post and ignoring the rest.
