honestly i dont do it cause its kinda boring and i actually usually consider its another person behind the character .
but after getting ganked multiple times at dmf by dirty alliance pigdogs, i think ill make an exception next time it comes around and bring a gank squad and control it for hours.
maybe alliance will regret the actions of their fellow members?
Usually the horde groups just disband when alliance players drag the goldshire NPCs in and the horde start getting dishonorable kills. Also the guards from SW are brutal.
If getting ganked on a PvP server is all it takes for you to go sour, you would have turned to the dark side eventually, so all I can say is I’m glad you got ganked first.
naw im lazy and probably wouldnt do it but if i did it would be a long time coming from many many ganks.
im generally the most chill person around when it comes to it and make it into little games like “how many times will i die going from thorium point to mc” btw the answer was 12 times which took 20+ mins.
Alliance players need the win of stopping DMF buff cause they aren’t winning any BGs. Pretty sure I have an almost 80-90% win rate just solo qing BGs. Alliance players are generally just bad at PvP in classic/SoD.
I do think it’s pretty strange, back in the day, I don’t think this kind of thing was as prevalent in wow, but we have reached a new low in terms of cringe.
people weren’t as worried with parsing so they didnt depend so much on stacking each and every buff, so without that gankers didnt really have a spot where people would 100% go to and be affected by a death
People aren’t crying about PvP. They couldn’t care less about the outcome of the fights.
They’re crying about PvE, namely, being denied a buff relevant to their ‘parsing’ and ‘pumping’. They’re crying about worhless, useless PvP interfering with majestic, glorious PvE. As anyone normal and well adjusted would.
You have 2 events and zones to go whack each other over the head like monkeys if you want. But the people ganking also want to affect PvE because they know PvP is irrelevant, killing someone out in the world is easily ignorable and they’re only relevant when their antics interfere with PvE content. So, their maladjusted brains decide to annoy other paying customers then cowardly hide the griefing behind “pvp happened lol”.
Bub - PvE servers exist. People choose to accept the risks and play on PvP servers.
At least Chrono Boon exists and you can secure your world buff once you’ve acquired it. But I don’t see what’s so bad about making “getting your world buff” into actual content. For the most part, my experience has been “If I go to DMF with friends I get left alone, we get the world buff, and we leave”. It’s mostly the solo anti-social players who are friendless and PUG who are the biggest victims of getting bullied and my opinion is… this is an MMO, trying to solo group content typically leads to a bad time. We don’t adjust raid locks to account for solo players getting locked to failed Gnomer PUGs, the game is not designed around solo players trying to do group things.
Lol, you mean horde? As horde is this weeks QQing about pvp since DMF is in elywnn. What about the rage post the other week from horde about how he doesn’t kill any alliance on his main but when he was leveling his alt he was getting kill so now he will kill all alliance! qq goes both ways depending on the week lol.
