Can we acknowledge a huge W

The dev teams decision to make close games reward the losing teams with more marks depending on points vice the 0-2000=1990-2000 was a great way to incentivize contested games and has led to actually satisfying pvp in what has been historically a kind of meh bg in sod(ab)(admittedly the push for perfect hph by the community is what caused this issue but i feel with all the posts bashing their decisions we should have one thread saying hey do more smart stuff like this)

I think it was a good move to reinvigorate two dead BGs, but it has also killed AV and effectively worsened the honor per hour mentality.

They need to boost the Concerted Efforts turn in honor gain to allow a healthier distribution of players among battlegrounds. 1 of each token per turn in and it’ll at least allow players a variety of active BGs than just 1 bg to do because they are stuck with HPHers.

Having a variety will also break up premades for solely focusing and dominating one BG.

I agree with this, concerted efforts needs a buff for sure

Haha yeah and then the entire Alliance…as a whole decided it would be real cool to exploit this new system to their advantage and throw every single game for an entire week. Ahhh…good times!

The entire playerbase collectively exploits any new system and is rewarded for it every single time.

Have you not been paying attention?

Im talking about the later change where they got rid of the system that people were exploiting in favor of the one where we have actual games realize i worded it poorly edited to fix

What?

Ally is getting to 600 then afk/fighting at stables and giving up. The only thing they changed is someone getting to 600 then quitting.

Dude as alliance ive been winning over half my games the last week or so, its been sick so i dont know what rng youve got thst thats your normal experience(been going with a group of 5 so not a full premade but it helps)

There’s an important reason why you have test realms and don’t just yeet changes all the time. That said, we got a better, more thought out iteration as a result of that first week.

This is true. This is honestly something that retail could learn from, as these are changes not even retail has (translated for mark to honor/conquest in retail of course). It’s always felt pretty bad wanting to keep fighting for the win, but knowing in the end you’re just hurting yourself by doing so because you’re likely too far behind to pull it off.
