Can the horde catch a break pls?

Can we stop being the poorly written faction only here to give the angels of the alliance vilains to beat ?

Can we keep some of our real strong interesting leaders alive or faithful for once ? Can the alliance be the poorly written vilains for once ?

I don’t really mind being the vilain faction “even tho its not really what the horde was suppose to be” but I don’t mind it when its written well and when I have reasons to be a vilain , so far all of our “bad leaders” went from anti heroes with decent goals like sylvanas or real heroes like garrosh to just "vilains with moustaches and evil for the sake of evilness " out of no where because reasons ?

Its kinda hard and boring to be horde and invested into the lore of the horde and its characters , when you know that at any moment everything can be twisted in the most stupid ways for the sake of making new vilains

I got into WOW and the horde because I used to love the lore of the game and the horde and what the horde stood for , but the lore of the horde have gotten worst and worst

To be fair, the Alliance needs something to stay relevent for the 20 people still playing on that faction.

LOL, says the winner side.

Alliance doesnt even get a STORY.

the alliance totally got the better story this exapansion.
Right up until the end of the war campaign anyways

And legion was 100% all alliance story

I play both sides and can say that both sides get the raw end of things from time to time. Cataclysm was a huge shafting to the Alliance. Their new race got a fraction of the attention from the developers while all the Horde victories happened in game and the Alliance victories mostly happened in the books. Then in Warlords the Alliance got an amazing starter zone and well appointed Garrison while the Horde basically camped under tarps for an entire expansion.

The pendulum of suck swings back and forth.

I would just be happy for a decent story for once.

Don’t worry, the war will be back on when someone stumbles and drops a cupcake on Tyrande’s dress at the “Welcome Home” Grand Alliance Gala in Stormwind, and she chooses to blame the stain on Baine, who was also in attendance.

horde vs alliance is pretty 50/50 in player population, lore wise the horde is a small town and the alliance is the united states

they don’t need to? just laugh at the horde…?

I’m not saying it can’t be changed, but this is entirely consistent with the very early lore of wow and wc 1/2/3.

Again, i’m all for interesting writing and change but we can’t really say this is on the writers of today.

What I find so crazy is how anyone can actually say this. The Alliance had 3 fully flushed out zones with a great story. They then had their portion of the war campaign that focused on all the cool and awesome good stuff they were doing while pwning the horde. It wasn’t until near the end of the war campaign that the stories converged.

Horde war campaign = doing evil and stupid stuff while losing to the Alliance.
Alliance war campaign = doing good and cool stuff while sticking it to the Horde.

Though I truly and deeply hope all the Alliance players out there get the Horde story you so deeply want. I’ll be fine playing the winning hero to your villains as you are forced to work with Horde NPCs.

Player population maybe, but in anything approaching competitive content? Check Raider IO, alliance is dying.

What? I saw the Alliance story this entire time. Let me show it to you.

It absolutely is. The whole point of the Horde ending in WC3 and Frozen Throne was highlighting that they are no longer slaves to demon blood. That the founding of Durotar was not just making a new home but also making a break from their tainted past. Metzen and co. played with the idea of taking the Horde in a new direction but ultimately either due to a lack of vision or in the case of the new devs out right incompetence we have this half baked idea of what the Horde should be.

They need to fire the idiots who are obsessed with Sylvanas and get some actual talent in there. The maybe the Alliance will go from boring to dynamic and the Horde will go from “some times neighbor and usually villain” to something that doesn’t make people collectively sigh in frustration.

In the very first writing of wow’s entire series Deathwing is the major bad guy.
Let’s not be too nearsided with their storytelling and at least let SL play out to see where sylvanis goes.

The one true banshee queen. (main was forsaken until bfa)

cataclysm was also the last time the alliance really got done dirty… and that came out a decade ago now.
panderia was “generally” pretty fair, but even then the horde ended up on the loosing side with our capital being sieged as the final raid.
warlords horde got the shaft,
legion was almost entirely alliance focused.
BFA horde got the shaft again.

If the “pendulum of suck” is supposed to swing back and forth, then someone better grease the gears cuz its been stuck pretty solidly in the alliances favor for nearly a decade now.

If getting a story is getting what the horde has been getting this all time with all our leaders dying or betraying the horde and the pride of the faction slowly dying out , I rather have no story you can have it if you want

from what I understood cata was more about thrall and tbh thrall is just another alliance best buddy with baine and about dragons that are very connected to night elfs , I didnt really see much of the horde outside of that

?

doenst mean their victories didnt happened and all of the horde victories were empty because in the end we lost the war and our pride because we won those victories not for the reasons we fought them

i am not talking about esthetic design but the lore

I like to spice up things wherever I can :lollipop:

I do not desire the opinion of your kind anyway lore abomination :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t like void elfs “lorewise”
