We here at Blizzard Entertainment want you to know that we see you and hear you. We are listening, and in response to your feedback we have decided that Pepe and his many adorable hats will now be solely available to Kyrian Covenant players, with the Kyrian Covenant henceforth being the Covenant for collectibles and side activities.
This will be part of a wider rework of the Covenant system, which will see the Covenants recategorized in the following ways:
The Venthyr will be the designated PvP Covenant. Those players who are not part of the Venthyr Covenant will no longer have access to Battlegrounds, Arenas, or War Mode.
The Night Fae are now the official PvE Covenant. No big changes there! From now on, LFG, LFR, LFD, etc. will now be solely available to Night Fae players.
We couldn’t think of a fourth thing for the Maldraxxi but they were boring anyway so we’ve deleted them.
(Characters who are part of the Maldraxxi Covenant will also be deleted.)
