Can mechagnome hunters not get the new Festive Raindeer spawn in Old Hillsbrad Foothills? - YOU CAN!

My mechagnome hunter can’t tmog enough to get four peices of matching festive wear…cause mechagnomes can’t tmog certain things <.<

I don’t have the Disposable Winter Veil Suits toy - so I can’t test that - but it seems weird tbh >.>

…does anyone know if mechagnome hunters can get the festive raindeer anyway (only been playing for 2.5 years and haven’t really collected any of the holiday tmog - so happy for suggestions or tips or what not).

ETA - YOU CAN!!! - You just have to have the actual items equipped. Drag them to your character sheet! >.<

Can you not find someone to use the outfit toy for you?

Or just literally equip the stuff the vendor sells?

Sadly this would be uniquely impossible for them but I guess race change would be an option.

I tried seeing if using stuff like transformer beacons would work. They do not.

What I haven’t tried yet is going into an instance where you get opposite factioned (mercenary or BfA) and trying to see if it’s possible to mog over the bits (I imagine it won’t work).

My hope is this leads to them finally letting mechagnomes fully transmog, but they will probably just reduce the requirement to 3 pieces.

I found a a Disposable Winter Veil Suit toy and doesn’t work :frowning:

I equiped everything I could from the finder - I can’t tmog belt or hands for being a mecha gnome

Mechagnomes can definitely xmog belts.

No I mean literally put the vendor items on your character sheet in place of your actual gear. Mechagnomes can still equip every slot even if they can’t xmog them.

I bought them as cosmetics that when I clicked they went into my collection? (form the ironforge vendor. is it the same vendor to get the actual items?)

You’d have to buy the item and drag it to your feet slot instead of right clicking.

hmm… I see. Well I know there are items that tailors and stuff can make if those can’t be equipped.

edit: Just checked. They can still be dragged and dropped onto your character.

Having the actual items equipped allows teh Reindeer to be present! ^-^
