I’ve heard the rp enough I don’t care to hear it again.
I’d just like to be able to hit 60 without playing anything in the Shadowlands, personally. It won’t ever happen, but that’d be a big thing for me to keep playing alts.
I really like the game, even on retail, but I can’t, for the life of me, enjoy any bit of Shadowlands.
This is my biggest issue currently, I hit 50 and lose a lot of the drive to level through SL because it’s so boring and really just dull.
I’m not asking for a free 60. This is along the same lines as skipping the rp in cot culling of strat or skipping the show me around quests. It would go a lot faster if I didn’t have listen to rp or have to go get the leaders one by one which is annoying. Shadowlands content is alright once you get out of the maw but the maw is something I refuse to do anything In
counterpoint:
yes
There is 0 harm in putting the ability to skip the stupid RP laden mega escort quest. If anyone prefers it, they can do it. For the rest of us, who don’t want to escort the NPC’s through the maw again, we can skip it and go straight to dungeons/quests.
They’ll put the skip in eventually. They always do. I just hope they do it sooner rather than later, because that maw intro sucks.
I agree with this point and honestly I hope they put a skip too but these threads are tiresome. There are far more pressing concerns for the devs to work on than a skip for a 20 min scenario. They will add one eventually people need to calm down and live with it until then.
It’s almost an hour of annoyance not 20 mins it’s slow and painful for new Alts
I RP my way through by yelling at Jaina and Thrall. I’ve even tried to get them killed more than once.
Doesn’t mean people want to waste that half hour of their lives if they don’t want to! You can be indifferent all you want. Other people don’t have to be!
What an awful analogy!
Plz, Papa N’Zoth, let it be.
It’s not a matter of the time it takes for me, it’s that its frequently silly (Thrall, for gawdsake, just find your own weapon!), repetitive and I cannot see the reason why people who have done it before and know the story information provided by it, cannot skip it.
My belief is that a skip will eventually be put in - and then I will wonder why it wasn’t done from the start.
Wasted time in a video game, LOL. As if anything in a video game has real world value, other than killing time. If you think the maw intro is boring, leveling alt after alt through the same zones that take 20x longer…
And it’s a lot faster than it used to be. I spent months in the past leveling alts to max.
Quit crying and start grinding…
It’s the school assembly that everyone hated to go to that was optional as a result most people didn’t go to it. With this everyone is forced to attend and isn’t having a shred of enjoyment
Back in my day we had to walk to school. Up hill. Both ways.
Someone needs to learn the definition of “priorities” and how other people have different ones! It’s hilarious that you think belittling someone’s idea of fun and what they want to do is somehow acceptable.
No one is crying but you! Go find another thread to act all high and mighty in, princess!
“You WILL sit there, looking attentive - stop texting there, Stephen! - and I will put you to sleep telling you all the news about your school and what’s happening this week. Yes indeed, more educating going on for the next 7 days, live with it . Now, stand up and sing the school song as off key as possible…”
Did all your brothers and sisters live in a shoebox? I remember those days…
not his weapon he’s looking for. /nudge /nudge /wink
I wouldn’t say it’s a bad comparison. The OP doesn’t enjoy the Maw, my experience with the expansion doesn’t change after I enter the Maw.
Would absolutely love to hit max level by just seeing the entire Legion Suramar and Class story to completion. This game has so much content it doesn’t want to stay relevant. I wish it was more sandboxy.
Sure, make me see the linear story they want to tell once. Afterward, just let me enjoy the stories I enjoy. I’ll still buy expansions for the level cap and the initial experience.
