Can I get rid of launcher, and still play games?

Hello all, I have several Blizzard games that I enjoy on my Macbook Pro laptop, but the Desktop Launcher application is constantly having new and improved bugs, and problems…
As such, I am looking for a way to play my games without having to use the launcher. This is proving to be a problem since I am on a Macintosh computer, and cannot find the ‘Switcher’ files, that are the suggested workaround for this on a PC.
Is there any way that I can still play my games, without needing the launcher??
Thanks in advance!!

Yes and no.

BattleNet is required to update the games, so even if you could launch the games directly, if they are out of date, they will not launch without being updated first. Which brings you back to Battlnet.

You can launch Wow from the application icon if it is up to date. Problem is, it’s continually getting little tiny updates to it, thus it is more likely than not, out of date at any given moment.

Any PC workaround has the same issue. You can’t launch the game if it is out of date. You will always need BattleNet to update the game.
