I made an argent squire back in WOTLK, and I loved that I could send mail or check my bank inside a raid zone. So I could have one character in Stormwind and mail myself some flasks, food, or gold for repairs. Then take out my squire and open my mail box inside the raid.
It took me like months to get the argent squire and I’m never going to do it on my new main. I just wish I could use it on my new main.

Then no, you can’t have your squire on your new main. It no longer takes months. (Not that it ever did unless you did one or two quests at a time.)

well then get to work then? grab a faction/argent crusade tabard and start farming HoL/TK dungeons in normal I suppose?
I would agree that having it as a toy would be amazing but such long grind for something like that… it’s just not for everyone.
