It makes sense that the most endgame content is the most valuable.
Any player is welcome to form or join naxx GDKPs and get that gold. They simply need to convince other players to join / bring them.

Just for fun. If we assume it takes 1.5 days played to level a character to 35, then it would only take 1.8 straight years of playing WoW 8 hours a day to set up these 144 characters.
If you had spent those hours in a Naxx GDKP you would have 18,144,000 gold.
Which means you would only need to transmute 2291 times per character to make that gold back. This would only take an additional 12.55 years.
If you mean arcanite transmutes, those are not the most valuable cooldown. And you can have 2 professions per character.
Right, of course.
It doesn’t matter because they have a cast time. lol.
This conversation is really highlighting the best part of GDKPs.
The money naturally flows to players, and more so the more endgame they get. This creates natural progression and rewards long term play.
At the same time, it makes it really hard for bots to be financially worth it, thus making a more bot-free and gold-buyer-free azeroth.
It does. It flows directly from bots, to RMTers, to GDKPers.
Better than from bots, to RMTers, back to bots lol
Now it ends in the hands of those playing the game.
Haha. No it ends in the hands of the RMTers who sell their quad-cut back to the same people who just bid the gold in their GDKP.
Most players use their cuts to buy items, boost alts, get consumes.
And they hold by far the majority of the gold on the server.
Why don’t you go convince 39 people to come to your naxx gdkp with 10% house cut and see what your gold per hour from start to finish is.
There are dozens of raids per week but every one are ran by a raid leads that are quite knowledge about the game, naxx, every class, teach / cut players, and are putting in a ton of work to put these things together.
The raiders are really getting the best deal because they avoid all those issues that are normally plaguing guilds and get pretty good payouts.
I think dungeons are rarer but you can do era endgame without gdkp*. You will prob need some raid if you want to be allowed into naxx. Rogue is good though I never did like energy.
*some preparation is expected, you will likely be required to heal if you are a class with a healing spec.
Great news. Bots and RMT aren’t a problem on Era servers. They exist, they don’t own the scene.
I just logged into Whitemane.
GDKP is server destroying. Not one normal LFG message. Just nonstop spam about boosting and GDKP.
Blizzard, you HAVE to ban GDKP for the fresh era. This is a big deal. Do you want people playing the game for fun, or to have it completely taken over by gold sellers and traders using gold to make IRL money – blocking out all social messages anywhere?
BAN GDKP.
As a compromise, leave it on the old era servers. And when a newer one comes out, retire the previous new one into the GDKP dystopia, and allow it. So long as there is always at least one server/battlegroup where GDKP isn’t destroying every social aspect and turning it into a gold selling hellhole.
And while you’re at it, ban boosting for gold too. Stop letting people use your servers to make money at the expense of a hobbyist community.
You are upset people are making pug groups?
There are plenty of guild runs as well but they advertise less since they aren’t pugs.
You said it here. ive never seen so many people wanting to rush through it so hard and for no reason.
Back on the pservers it was sorta of a downer when naxx would release because everyone knew the server had ran its course.
