Yes you can boost your 35 hunter, but its a waste of a boost.
Might as well make a lvl 1 hunter and boost to 58, because theyll be exactly identical to each other when you use a boost. Dont waste it on a 35 you can use to farm or have fun twinking.

You can boost preexisting and new characters.
Professions are not touched by the boost so either way you have to raise them by hand

Freshly boosted characters will not include any professions while existing characters will retain their chosen profession as it is.

Wont really be a waste of a boost if you’re like 200 into BSing or w/e profession, it would actually be highly beneficial to boost a character who’s lvl 30 with two professions above 150 than a lvl 1 character with no professions.
