Can Collectors Get Some <3

My issue isn’t drop rate. It’s the drop rate and spawn time relationship. To wait an hour, actually doing nothing in game isn’t that fun anymore and to do it for a 1% drop rate, it gets old really fast.

Weekly lockouts are good for you if you don’t plan on doing it more than once a week. But dropping lockouts would not affect you whatsoever or your playtime. They are not good for some of us, especially tbc heroics when you are farming tmog. Just makes zero sense to continue the content time gate scheme for legacy content.

This is why I’d like to see spawn times on legacy content be shortened tremendously. As a player, I want to be efficient with my time. I don’t want to wait. I also don’t want to be a dick so it’s a choice between an outdated gating system and being a dick. It’s just not fun

I for one would love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love for Blizzard to announce that stuff will stop being removed from game. For collectors it’s content and we play the long game. The fomo style that Bliz likes to do with some content is just plain terrible.

All I am reading here is:

I want the rewards but I don’t want to put in the time, effort and energy required to earn them.

Perhaps you would be happier playing a mobile game.

It’s as easy as updating a value in the database. Even that seems to be too much work for them.

Can Blizzard turn some more of those usable items into toys? My bank and bags would be so happy.

How about a Dragon Soul skip to Madness? Farming the mount is so tedious….

Why would they, though?

This looks like just another “give me free stuff now pls” thread.

While you’re entitled to your trolling, this is not that whatsoever. I don’t want the cheat code for infinite life. Many of us have put in the time and due to rng, we get boned on collecting and economy. Notice how the suggestions were to modify things to create a better experience. Feel free to comment on those individual points.

Obviously you didn’t read a lot of the comments here. This isn’t about free stuff, nor is it about giving us gifts. This is about the RNG nonsense we’ve had to put up with for a long time and expressing our opinions on how older content is treated for collectors. Content should be it’s own reward, not the “gambler high” that game dev’s have been banking on in the current meta of gaming.

This. This all day long. This until the cows come home!

Yeah I think they need to rework legacy content more than just a stat/level squish, especially considering they seem to be trying to sweep it under the rug and make only the current expansion and the one prior the only content players see.

Just like the paragon and so many topics still missing on the community council, there’s a lot of post from collectors and players that would like reward designed as a determenistic goal, that can be achieved by effort and not only RNG.

RNG could exist but with a friendly value, that’s why i always mention that Devs know about that otherwise they wouldn’t had changed the Mecha Done meta achievement during 9.1.5.

Achievements

  • The following changes have been made to Mecha-Done

    • Developers’ note: We’re smoothing out the rough edges in this epic meta-achievement to help players who are stuck on one of the more rare elements finally get that wheel mount!

PS: I’m ok with that change even when i got the mount before those changes but that just represent that they’re aware of some level of RNG being toxic among the player base and that they could change it at any moment.

I too am now ok with other’s getting stuff I had to work hard for. I think I, and hopefully most others just want consistency. Things that got nerfed like the insane title etc but than others that Bliz says “It’s a mark of honour.” I realize that yes, we all up tonnes of effort into a lot of things, but I prefer people playing this game and those interactions vs me going “Look I got this mount” and there’s no one around to see it.
