Can anyone help after a long hiatus - can't find any of my hunters pets

Hi everyone - I was wondering if someone could shed some light as to where my hunter pets went? Support was able to find my old account which was amazing, but I logged into my hunter and no pets. Not only was the level drop a shock, I knew there would be a drop but to go from 80+ to 30… that I can handle ok but, where are my pets? The message I receive when calling it tells me I can’t control exotics, can someone help explain

Exotic pets are level 39, I believe.

Thanks, yeah I just found that out. Thankfully I had one armored wolf in the stable I could use.
