Please clarify, if you are on retail, and you trade gold to a buddy, is this against terms and conditions now?

There’s a thread in CS on this with the answers we can get so far. Vrak will look into it further this coming week.

Can we get some clarification on the updated policy?

So this was updated 18 hours ago: And it seems very vague. Are we going to get banned for helping out new guild members/new player friends by giving them gold? Are we going to get banned for selling items in raid groups? Is this only for Classic? Is Retail affected? Is this only to other people or can people trade gold to themselves on different licenses or Bnet accounts if they multibox?
