Fr. I ain’t grinding dailies to see the story. I just get the impression there is no story. I didn’t know there were dragon riding dailies until 10.0.7 for instance because this content was gated.

Respectfully,there is no reason lfr can’t be released at the same time as normal or higher ,since most people run mythic + for gear they are already to do so now. but they wouldn’t because gatekeepers want this for carried purposes. It is only a story so it wouldn’t matter.

Why is the final wing of LFR in a month? Why is this gated so heavily?
Let people enjoy the things. If Mythic can unlock week 1, there is no reason LFR shouldn’t unlock week 1 all at once too. I have been a hardcore raider in the past and raided Mythic pretty heavily but, times change. You should not gate an entire mode of the game just to keep casuals around longer. We can chain run M+ dungeons and get higher ilvl gear.
So the people who do not raid at a Normal or higher level just have to avoid spoilers for an entire month? How is this right? It’s a story and people will spoil things immediately. The players running at LFR level will have their experience ruined because they had to wait to get the conclusion to this story line.

Yep, all of them to die at frakk assult to get the achievement “standing in the fire again” which my warrior and priest can’t do for god knows why they never die. Oh and fire mage

Naked. And you might have to fly into him twice. I had to get out of range and then go back in once the buff dropped off because I wasn’t dead yet.
I assume the quest (haven’t done it yet) takes place chronologically after the raid so it makes sense that you need to finish the raid first.

Twice on the priest angel save her , and fire mage the same, warrior being a tank i guess it helped?

Ill just do the weeklies then, I have a bunch of games I need to catch up too, V Rising, FF14 and ESO added content, just to mention a few as this year is pack with good games coming out… Ill just hit does stories and games while I wait for the Raids to open up.

Whilst gating the MSQ behind a raid quest is a very old tradition in wow, it doesn’t mean it hasn’t always been a stupid design choice. Because it is. If they insist on clutching onto these pearls, then at least release LFR over the course of 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks at most for 3 wings. Anything more is just yet more arbitrary gate keeping and smacks of desperation on Blizz’s part.
It’s not interactive to deal with the lockout system. Pretty much kills the feeling of progression for regular folk. Some of us want to reclear one boss in PUGs to learn it, or to simply experiment in pugs and not “waste” lockout, but that’s DOA due to lockouts.
Adding more cosmetics or trying to force tie the story in is blizzard doubling down on thinking players are wrong instead of the systems and timegate ruining the meaningfulness or worth-it math.
I gave up on ilvl/gearing for DF, blizzard does not understand what makes something worthwhile, they just know their pigeonholed timegate systems to prop up metrics, and moving around reward baits.
