I think with posts like this they should go back to requiring raiders to do open world.

it started out that way but then they brought in normal and starting nerfing and time gating LFR for an entirely different group of people. The ones they don’t care about at all.

I have to agree,I rather do a progression that way .
But this still allows for spoilers if you don’t kill Sarkareth when he comes out in raid finder? I don’t get how this stops people from doing it out of order if they don’t raid. Non-raiders will still do it out of order, they just now have to wait an extra month.

I also want to be very clear to the “git gud” people who will eventually respond. I do not want it easy at all. I want challenging content, just not one that feels like a timegate chore that isn’t a progressive experience you can’t learn or play the way you want.
Dealing w/ a lot of people and ticking a checkbox for the week just for hand-me login reward loot isn’t meaningful or interactive or worth the hassle, whether said chore is hard or not.

You got me wrong there, lfr,normal, heroic and mythic is progression ,not normal, lfr and etc. that is a mess .
I do open world. Only thing I don’t do, is PvP. Group finder for Normal mode is your bestfriend. You’re bound to get a kill if you place some effort in.
I play the game.
It’s a mess because Blizzard has to bend around their MAU boosting lockout systems and still trying to bait people to play.

It is a sight-seeing mode that exists for players who refuse to participate in end game. It realistically shouldn’t exist at all.
Oh they play it alright ,why else would they complain it isn’t out now when normal is out?

LFR is not endgame mate.
it is to some,others it’s a progress step. Or do you even know what progression is.

Well good for you, but when most raiders had to do Naz’jatar content, you all cried about that. Which impacted open world. So raid should be impacted by open world.
I play the game too, which is why I have a high level of achievements.

That is nice. Players can choose to play however they want. It does not mean the game is catered to everyone.

Correct. This is WoW. Max level raiding is a significant part of the end game design and experience. Has been for nearly 20 years.
Well,has it is now it’s catered to raiders ,so to say just jump in normal is senseless,imho. if that were so then jump in heroic and skip the whole process.

We need to increase our MAUs and arbitrary timegating is the best way we can do it and have our raiders defend us for it!
