Camera not "sticking" with right click

Right-click 100 times in the orange area. Does it register 100 clicks? Does it ever turn red?

Dying mice are finnicky. They “die” intermittently when they first start to go. The switches will hold a click fine for four days, then not work for two or three, then be fine again. I find that ambient temperature can affect it. My “dying mice” are often quite worse when I start to use them in the morning, then the fault tends to taper off as my hand warms the mouse.

The tiny 1-mil-thick piece of copper in the dying micro-switch can easily have its tensile strength altered by a forty-degree difference in temperature, especially if the tensile strength is already on the edge of not being able to “hold a click.”

This can disguise itself quite effectively as “it only happens in WoW,” if people don’t do much else with their computers.

Believe me, I know. My personal “click pressure” is far above what I guess to be the average “click pressure” because my mice switches give out more or less six months from purchase. Always the right or middle button, always starts with the click not “sticking” when I click or turn. Razer, Logitech, Microsoft, Amazon Basics - it doesn’t matter.

Anyway, it’s worth ruling out a mouse switch issue before you completely focus on software, especially since you can do that with some confidence at the site I listed above, with only the time it takes to click 100 times.
