I have my tank and heal alts but they stay clear of dungeons like the plague. People these days are so petty over anything like covenant, spec, talent and even class.
Not worth the stress or headache.

Inevitably these people were doing something completely ridiculous but play innocent on the forums.
Ive seen maybe 4-5 people get booted ever in hundreds of normal/heroic/M+ and it was completely obvious to everyone they deserved it each time because they were either completely sabotaging the group they were so bad or saying racist trash etc.
People are very reasonable if youre honestly trying, even if you make honest mistakes and cause a wipe, but its tiresome getting clowns and trolls sabotaging things.

I came back for 3 months to run Shadowlands (Main only), and have run only one normal dungeon to get my BiS legendary memory item. I watched videos, didn’t die, but popped lust too early on one fight, Didn’t get kicked or yelled at.

A lot of this depends on realm and being horde. Trying to level a horde alt recently and it was the worst experience ever. To the point I gave up on the project. So many people treating levelling content like its M+ and bailing the second people dont play exactly the way they want them too. In the 13 or so years I’ve been Alliance on my main server I never experienced anything like it.

I am not sure why they would kick you for being a noob… Did you AFK a lot? Were you being disrespectful? First thing try to see what they may take as a negative. I truly don’t think all ppl kick ppl for being new… I even open map and give directions.

Normal and heroic?
I’ve run a lot of dungeons and other than DC’s I’ve seen maybe 3 people kicked for behavior or play.
Honestly this seems like a really bad strawman for whatever “Elites are toxic” agenda your arguing for or against.

taunt gets turned off, so unless he is turning it back on i dont think its that. My guess is he is using aoe and pulling extra mobs. or pulling stuff the tank isnt pulling.
Dont we all have the full set of heirlooms by now? They’ve been out for ages.

im messing with alts these days and no issues in normal runs even if i do less dps than the tank…
are you pulling extra mobs accidently? tanks hate that.
To say you got kicked out of “every” group since you came back implies you are doing something wrong or you are being dramatic.
It just does not add up.
At Level 26 most people do not care about your dps, spec, or most everything else – because you are in a group of people at different levels, with different gear with different abilities that may not be the best at the current level.

Not sure what you are experiencing … I have leveled several alts and never been kicked … even when I am doing the dungeon while eating food .
The tank in looms can carry the whole group on his own without breaking a sweat in leveling dungeons .
