I think a warrior would be cool, or a rogue or a warlock. But I personally want to make a pitch black Dracthyr for a warlock.
I’m not making any new Dracthyr alts, I’m sticking with my Evoker.

I’m changing my nihilistic void/infinite themed Dracthyr I used for MoP Remix into a Shadow Priest. /nod
YES! This is finally a thing. But evokers are still shifting to drac form during combat.
Tbh I wouldn’t mind being stuck in drac form if they implemented full mogging.
"Undertaking one of these new classes as a Dracthyr will allow you to choose between fighting as a Dracthyr or fighting in Visage form by activating Visage, which switches you between forms. You can additionally choose to toggle on Chosen Identity, which will automatically shift you into Dracthyr form when entering combat and Visage form when leaving combat.
Dracthyr Evokers will continue to use Dracthyr form during combat, as many of their abilities emphasize their draconic nature. "
Those forms would be insane.
Kind of wild they didn’t capitalize on expanding druids via dracthyr. Would have been a great opportunity.
Shame the closest that you can get is dark grey. Can’t even have orange accents colours to match the black transmog wingset.
i am slightly sad they didn’t allow Shaman or perhaps Monk but maybe someday, eh?
I’ll be race changing. Racials v good.
I really don’t have time or space for another alt. But part of me really wants a dracthyr priest just for those amazing wing animations. They should update the animation for evokers’ Dragonrage to be the same kind of thing, but with fire
Warrior with the name and title “Harbinger of the Infinite”
Been farming for the Infinite Hand from DotI with Holy loot specced Pally but Infinite Tyr is being selfish lol
Still stuck between warrior or rogue, hoping for some inspiration Tuesday.
Nice predesign!
Not sure why there is so much hype around the Dracthyr, and how they managed to get love before the nearly 8 year old Demon Hunters. IF I were absolutely drunk or bored, and once the servers are back up around 3PM PST, I would make a Mage since thematically they make the most sense having seen the Cinematic.
I can’t imagine rolling a race where you can’t see your armor half the time AND you can’t pick other visage forms (even though there was a Tauren visage in the DF intro).
The drac look so dumb with only the shoulders, lol.
I’m not a fan of priests, but that voidform dracthyr looks too badass not to have.
Maybe a hunter or a rogue. Definitely not one of those pesky warlocks
Race changing my main, of course.
I like dracthyr, and I had made 4 right off the bat…however, it turns out that I didn’t really like evoker. I knew that during DF beta, but I still made 4 at the beginning of DF .
So…I’m going to delete 2 of them to recreate them as as other classes. I’m at 61 or 62 characters on this account, so I don’t have a ton of room for new ones; plus, I want to steal the names and looks. I’m keeping one—the white one named Pharazon in the image below—as an evoker. Fanciflup, the pink one, will become a warrior. Nessie, the black one, will become…I’m not sure yet. Rogue makes the most sense, but I don’t enjoy rogues much either.
The 4th, which is not in this picture, is on a 2nd account that I’m not subbed on at this time (nor in a while). So, she will stay evoker for now.
Definitely going to roll a Dracthyr Fury Warrior to start off with. Warlock will be the second one I make.
Not sure if I’m going to roll all six additional classes with Dracthyr, but I’ll see how the first two go.
Really looking forward to it.
To all dracthyr’s rolling these classes to play but using visage form…
Why are you even bothering playing this race?
To be redundant most certainly…
Wednesday. When blizz says maintenance is 8 hours, that means 20+ hours.
I wanted to make a dracthyr mage, but I’m kind of exhausted of warcraft and might take a break instead.
Pharazon looks like my second coolest English teacher.
Also the visage form is really well designed in its own right. It’s a more customizable blood elf, and it’s funny when my friends see my character and are like “You just made you?”
Although I do have to explain I didn’t choose to make the arms so much bigger than mine; that’s just the art style
But yeah, personally, and probably for a lot of others, draconic elf fulfills its own kind of vibe in a way that hits some of us deeper than 24/7 lizard. I choose to save the Liz for special occasions. Like travel!
Hunter!
I’m looking forward to this update!
