Call off work / quit job

You’re good. You know it’s going to take like 2 weeks for any job to interview all candidates, make a decision, run any background they need, actually get you in the office, etc… Enjoy your WoW week!

My current job is during the school year, so I have until the following week. I’m also going to be waiting for a potential call back for a teaching position. I at least get a couple of days to binge on classic, so I guess the stars are aligned for me to be in sh*t bucket mode.

I took 11 days off if work lol

I have 2 days off after labor day for classic. With it being the week prior to labor day all the time off slots were already taken before they announced an official date. Not a huge deal really as that will let some of the launch madness die down before I have my time off and I will be home from by the time the game officially opens.

I think most people saying they are quitting their job for classic are either joking, or they are haven’t started their careers yet, don’t need the money, and could easily find another similar job when they want to.

Only the retarded.

I actually picked up another job. Just part time on weekends. Guess i’m at the opposite end of the spectrum as I’ll be working 7 days a week now, haha.

I’ve taken off Monday afternoon through Friday.

I just got hired on at a major car part manufacturer on a 17 week contract. I still have 11 weeks to prove myself to the company. I want to not call in sick until I get hired on completely.

Even then… they give rewards to people who dont call in for the whole year, over 1000$ for whoever wins the big prize… and the pool is awefully small by the end of the year.

I can’t beleive im saying it but I’m actually doing the adult thing for once and it feels way better then getting to level 12 early

I wish I could but I already took a week off this summer and I have to finish a pile of work to meet a deadline. I have to get everything done next week. Otherwise I would totally take a few days off.

I will totally be playing after work though.

I have launch day off so I’ll see how launch goes. if it is smooth I may call out sick for a couple extra days

my dads too young and also his wife too alive for me to make this happen

but bravo to you !

I want to take the day off. My wife said, if I do, I have to watch our infant daughter. So it defeats the purpose. I could fish with one hand but that seems like a waste. I’ll be log’en and rock’en it with the 7-8pm old man work crew. Im sure there will be a wave starting then. P.S. don’t have a child in your 40’s. See ya’ll then! Atiesh (H)

I retired early last week.

You can always get another job, but Classic release comes once in a lifetime.

I work part-time for Best Buy. I don’t get days off.

I find stupid the people call for a job to miss. Because on this game you will need 4 hours every day to progress at “Midcore” speed.

480 hours on 4 months enough time to Raid, lv up a profession, complete all the dungeons, have at least 2 toons level 60 and probably have a few “RAIDING-GEAR-pieces”.

WoW classic is not the same as FFXIV or WOW-RETAIL. that allow you progress with 45 mins per day lol.

Jokes on you, I already am jobless.

While I quit my job a few years ago, I’m still going to celebrate. Here’s to having lots of savings and limited overhead!

I took a weeks vacation.

I’ll be “working from home” during launch week.
