Not a job…6 weeks of doing the grind on a main and an alt is starting to feel like one…the excuse that’s is “better than BFA” is not a good one. Its still bad.
Hell play what you like man. I’m enjoying Nioh 2’s Last Samauri atm cause I missed the DLC. Gaming is meant to be fun imo. Sometimes I take a break from WoW and come back when I hope there will be content I enjoy.
I’m pretty sure the forums miss me badly when I’m not around as I’m such an amazing person.
Exactly. I’m an altoholic and doing these “activities” are insanely time consuming.
Sometimes I wish I’d just play one character but if that ever happened I’d just quit playing the game. Playing wow for an hour or two a day at that point I’d rather just do something else.
Glad you are enjoying yourself. I find Classic a bit like rancid tripe. But, to each his own. I’m enjoying Retail.
The renowned system is one calling, collect 1k anima and collect a couple of souls. If that is too much work for you, god help you if you try and do anything serious in classic. Soul ash is quick, just get a couple of friends together and knock out both wings in about 2 hours.
Honestly, you are making it sound way more difficult than it actually is…
Completely missed the point on forced content but thats to be expected
I’m right there with you, I’m a classic candee.
I just dislike how easy it is to get the Ash needed, and thinking of how long it’ll be till we can use 2… T_T
No, I didn’t miss the point. I pointed out that you are being melodramatic and exaggerating them. We have had these types of systems for the last 5+ years now.
You, sir, shall forever be known as the Classic Andy!
I’m not sure why people treat it like Classic doesn’t feel like a job. Do people still enjoy DME jump runs for hours? Are collecting and preserving world buffs enjoyable now?
Im glad you enjoy Classic, but for me it was the oposite, I started classic in february last year, and it really hook me up, it ignite my wow passion like the first time i play (something retail wow never do to me in the last years) but it didnt last.
I quickly realize It was all about min/maxing and the comunity is so toxic and elitist, with all the buff meta it really feels like a job and not something to do for fun, i lost the vibes of an open world rpg due to the min/maxing culture and at the end is not enjoyable at least for me.
There was a point were I cant even form a dungeon group because everyone was just boosting, like man,if I want to power leveling in dungeons I play retail.
And I left it and came back one week before shadowlands and as a casual player im having a blast, im enjoying it a lot, is not perfect but for my is awesome.
And dont get me wrong, I think Classic was the best mmoRPG out there the first months, but the community turn it into hot garbage, specially the end game content.
You aren’t forced to farm any of those.
I guess you could say renown you have to.
But anima is thrown at you for every little thing you do, if you don’t make 1k in a week than you aren’t playing.
Soul ash you don’t need to do past the 190 piece. And even than you don’t need to do it. The effect is big to use 190 in most content.
But I mean, if you don’t wanna farm SL stuff enjoy farming your classic stuff. Same difference
