But why no Kultiran paladin?

Like elevators, the Light has a weight limit

that’s kinda what would happen, even using the light in general makes them taste the rot in they’re mouths

They can’t embrace the light as doing so would crush the light and no one could be a Paladin or a priest anymore.

Because no more Human Male Paladins, thank god.

Also because they’re too heavy to reach the light. /s

I assumed they probably would have gotten paladins but it would have given them an extra class option over their zandalari counterpart.

In WC3, Jaina’s father was a paladin.

Well… based on one.

Still really funny they introduced prelates and tried to write them out in BfA until the players called them out on it and we finally got a new paladin race/class combo uwu

It’s been quite some time, but didn’t the Kultirans have churches in WC 2/3?

They also had actual Paladins.

The playable race/class combo has always been a class/race combo that the COMMON PEOPLE can be. Hence why Pandaren Deathknight and Night elf Paladin are a thing already even though they are not playable. In fact there are Kul Tiran paladins right now(if you do the invasions in Drustvar you can see them join the Lightforged).

I expect a cata style easing of class restriction spmeday though.

He also wasn’t an eight foot tall ogre-man-beast with a kettle belly. Nor was anyone on his crew.

Times change.

It’s also a way to differentiate them from the other humans. Stormwind gets paladin and warlock, Kul Tirans get shaman and druid. It’s a fair trade off and adds some unique identity between the different cultures. Gilneans didn’t get paladins either, not all humans followed that road.

Lore is lore, until they break it.

The Blizzard crew seems to have forgotten the core rule of world-building: “You can add to, but you can’t take away.”

Gilneans had paladins as well.

It actually makes more sense for them to have shamans over Druids.

Excuse me?

I’d say if the inception of Kul Tirans was like that pre-MOP or pre-BfA then it’s likely they would have had Paladins.

They’ve gone I’m a different direction and indicated that KTs aren’t as much into the Light;
But they have made Kul Tirans more their ‘own’ culture ranging from those that have a connection to Drust culture and the life/death, normal townsy folk who are just the usual rogue/bandit/pirate archetype and sea loving folk which while are generally Kul Tirans overall are even moreso in Stormsong.

Still well within scope to make a Kul Tiran Paladin using normal model, maybe they’ve gone to stormwind for training/excercise.

You’re excused. But which part of what I said are you asking excuse for?

The “lore reason” people have come up with in this thread is really dumb and doesn’t even make sense since Kul’Tirans have fought in all three wars and many of them would have logically become paladins.

The proof is in the pudding, folks. They have Paladins.

So being fat makes one unholy now?

It’s called the LIGHT not the HEAVY
