It’s crazy that staff removed my post in this thread explaining how last time for character copies people complained, and reasoned this time around, that they’re not doing it this time because of all the issues that happened like the 24hr maintenance last time. But not only are they doing that now anyways, they’re doing the entire copy process as well, just not allowing us to buy character copies.
Ridiculous that you both do this and remove my earlier post explaining this. Maybe it’s because it had more likes than the original post. Crazy how Blizzard also replied to the forums posts about post-nerf content when that was a less popular issue than character copies. Yet they’re doing the entire copy process anyways just not allowing us to do it, and with no explanation.
It also looks like you guys removed other posts agreeing with it in this thread, almost like the decision for no character copies has impacted entire guilds that go to Era instead of TBC.
Please blizzard! Take my money and give me clones!

They aren’t copying characters:
They’re just not allowing us to buy copies this go around, but they’re still doing the process itself. They could allow copies, but they’re just not.
“we will be copying all your Account and Regional data to the new environments database”
Notice that it says account and regional data, NOT persistent data.
They are not doing character copies (the persistent database), ONLY the account and regional database is being copied.

I thought this was solely an EU thing. It saddens me that it happens here as well.
